I really Do not understand everyone’s hatred for this manga/anime Sword art is by far one of my favorite new Anime’s that has been released in the past few years. The character development was amazing, albeit, the plot has been done many times over. one of the things i loved most about SOA is that the love interest (Asuna) showed up in the second episode, then like literally disappeared for 4 or five episodes for the main character to build HIS story! So if you say SOA is shitty you might as well not be Watching or reading manga. Thank you and have a good day.

You’re right about the plot being done before considering it’s the same plot of all .Hacks put together I won’t go into more detail on that out of respect for fans who have yet to watch it and to avoid spoilers for said viewers. However that isn’t enough to dismiss it as shitty because if all anime were original half of the mainstream famous ones would be very different or nonexistent at all. So let’s put it this way, SAO is fine as far as anime and manga go. It’s meant for a certain audience and reaches who it needs to reach. The problem lies in the fact that those people that it reaches tend to proclaim its praises on high without looking toward its faults. A story beaten to death, non memorable characters, an odd and awkward incest based love story presented in a way that makes the main character even less memorable because he gets overshadowed by his love interest, who also overshadows all other characters. Those just name a few faults with the series, however as I said before all anime/manga have their own faults and it isn’t enough to dismiss this one as shitty. But once again, the reason this series is shitty is a very simple reason I’ve mentioned before as well. The fans. Now not all fans are the issue here, in fact I personally know a few that understand and even agree about where I come from with these points. However there are too many fans of this series that overlook its faults to the point that they become biased towards this series. Overlooking flaws in an anime/manga is part of being a fan, but you can’t overlook them to the point of bias. That’s where the shitty part comes in. I’ve seen/read SAO, .Hack, and Log Horizon, all anime/manga that revolve around the same general idea and I feel like I can view them as objectively as possible and I’d be willing to discuss them with anyone who wishes to POLITELY dispute my claims.

The BlaBlaBad fans BlaBla fandom stuff... all fandoms suck, face it. I never saw a good one.. a hive-mind is created, and all concentrate on the stupid stuff because it's easier. So you have a really stupid hive-mind for every fandom..

But beside that... IS OP IN A  BOOKSTORE? The shelves look like a bookstore did they just throw a book in the trash they didn't pay for in a bookstore?????????????????

He had nothing to do but do as he was told. The heavy breathing slowed slightly, despite difficulties. To push the laughter and taunting from his mind, he had to shut his eyes and forget. It was hard and the voice inside kept pestering him.

Teeth ground against teeth as he sat in silence for a few more moments. Then he slowly looked back at Mirai, squinting at her slightly. His hands lowered. It wasn’t that he was afraid, but more… worried… wanting to not repeat his past actions. 

Eyes scanned the scenery for a moment, taking in everything, before he replied. “I’m fine,” The comment was much less strained and hurting. His features hardened once again. “Now beat it, kid. I told you to stop bothering me.”

"I'm really.. sorry!" she apologized again, but glad that he was feeling better again. She'd rather not call an ambulance on him or.. anything else.

"And you don't seem so much older than I am.." she huffed slightly before sighing again. "Ah.. really I'm sorry.. but uhm.." she carefully placed a white box on the table. "That's what I had brought for today.. you can throw it away or give it to someone else if you want... uhm.. byebye!" with that she fast hurried away.

In the white box was a small strawberry shortcake to be found.

     The sound that had quite a bit of a mouse that had been caught left her lips at the sudden movement. Staring up to the vampire, hands over her mouth. If the wall hadn't been behind her she most likely had been fallen backwards.     "H-how unpleasant.. I... how about I leave then.. can't be boring when I'm not he-here.."

There was a for a second a slight grimace on her face.. really no one would want to swallow what she had just thought off. But her expression became fast enough more serious again.

"Can't say I truly ever knew a different path myself. But you really sound like you.. enjoy it. Nosferatu.. are you my enemy? I never met your kind.. so are you, or not?"

"No," he said again. "No. No." He didn’t repeat himself for her, but for his own state of mind, which was decaying. The sound of her laughter was being pressed into his head once again. It was something he would give his soul to forget. 

When he turned towards Mirai, he had a look of horror and pain, but also fear. All shown through wide eyes, like that of a deer. His lips were pulled back over his teeth and his fingers were tugging at his hair. Try he did to tell her to get away, but words wouldn’t come out.

There was a truly worried look in her face, he didn't look well. Looked like he was in pain.. had she really triggered that? Was it her fault? Should she maybe leave? But.. that felt wrong, letting him alone in this situation, not if she had caused it.

"I am sorry.. " her voice were nearly not audible, and a sigh followed them. She slowly looked up again eyes, focusing, more determined. "You don't need to be scared! I will not let anything bad happen, I promise!" she didn't mean that she'd protect him, not only that. But that she would not let him do anything he'd regret either.

"Please calm down.. take deep slow breaths.." ah.. she should have read up more on panic attacks..
