the way we get references to freesmarters on the lyrics while watching pencil kill them in a cathartic way. like, they're mentioned as tools for a wordplay, not really by their persons ("baby I'm a gem so match the vibe" / "I'm an open book so just pop by"). LIKE. pencil did not really see her alliance as people until this point. not her friends, but tools to support her and help point the stage lights to her. she can do whatever she wants with her alliance. they're her tool they're her toys. fuck i love her so much. she's right everything she did was so fucked up.

turns out the secret to make yourself work on your comics is to straight up not be allowed to draw your characters unless it's for the comic

i often forget people enjoy different things than me and make stuff out of it,,,

like yesterday i was in vc with a friend and i almost asked out loud why I was seeing so much tadc inspired content, straight up forgot tadc fans existed and had their art influenced by the show lmao.

like if someone told me "I'm a fan of this thing" that's ok, i can compute that. but if i see art that was clearly inspired by the thing and happen to not know the artist, my first response is usually "wait why would someone create something like this?" like bro are you dumb

someone needs to repeat like 3 times "it's because the artist likes thing" for me to understand it and i sound like an asshole the entire time sighhh

btw isn't it crazy that glitch studio productions are influencing a generation of artists out there? i mean it in a good way.

like i know my art was inspired by things like undertale maybe homestuck, 2010~ internet in general. and now I'm alive to see art be created and inspire and change the style of new artists forever just like the art of the younger years did to me

like, what you consume as a kid and teen will change your artstyle forever that's a thing. but i never really stopped to think i would witness new influential media be born and be influential to new artists, that's crazy. that's beautiful. love to be alive to see it.

and. like. a lot of their shows were made with inspiration from older aesthetics that were important to the creators. so. like. like

the older artists are making art based on what was important to their younger selves and showing it to the younger ones who probably did not live those aesthetics. they probably might not have a strong connection to them before watching the show, but they will have a connection with THE SHOW, which was inspired by the aesthetics.

they're showing the new artists what was important to them and trusting them with it. so those aesthetics, or rather a new interpretation of them, is still alive and it will be passed down who knows for how long. im gonna cry

falando bem do comic fury de graça:

caralho, eu não chequei como o comicfury funcionava pra esse tipo de coisa mas eu sinto que é a plataforma que lidou melhor com a resolução das minhas páginas e capas. principalmente quando eu olho as páginas no computador, os pixeis são bem claros e bonitinhos tudo perfeitinho. em outros lugares eu tava tendo problema com as minhas páginas terem uma resolução muito baixa e a plataforma comprimir capas e thumbnails de uma forma que deixava tudo macio e borrado, não tenho esse problema lá. conversei com outras pessoas que tavam fazendo hqs em outros lugares e elas falavam pra mim que eu ia ter que redesenhar as páginas pra encaixar na resolução das plataformas. te amo comic fury
