@ like every girl I’m mutuals with
If everyone’s a goddess then what’s so special about being a goddess??? Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for empowerment but this world doesn’t need more pride or more lies about how proud we should be, it needs less. We need humility. We need to realize that you are no more or less special than anyone else, and that goes for everyone. She’s not better than you because society deems her “hotter,” he’s not better than you because he’s dated more women, and YOU aren’t better than them because you have more friends, or have a special skill, or drive the coolest car. You’re not worthless, you’re just not special. She, he, me, and we are all equally not special. So instead of trying to comfort and empower yourself by looking in the mirror and telling yourself you’re a god/goddess, do yourself a favor and take off the blindfold that society has put on you and stop measuring your or other’s self-worth. We ALL have immense worth but no one has “more.”
This post has nothing to do with people being better than others. This message is to bring across your point exactly. Everyone has immense worth, but no one has more. By telling everyone that they’re a goddess, I’m encouraging the idea that no matter who you are and what you look like, you are still a beautiful being. No one is special or better. Empowerment is not about bringing up pride so we can feel superior. It’s about helping us feel proud and confident in ourselves as individuals. So if someone wants to look in the mirror and tell themselves that they are a god/goddess and feel good about who they are, then that is their choice. You completely misunderstood the message. Please think before you post.
