Hey you guys, I saw this post on Instagram yesterday and it broke my heart. This is a picture of Melanie’s cat, Nino, who was abused because he was in the bathtub when Melanie’s sister’s roommate wanted to shower. As said in the post, Nino suffered a broken jaw and is unable to eat on his own, he is blind in his left eye from the trauma and will need jaw surgery which costs about $6000.
Edit: To answer those anons and messages I’ve received regarding the police report, yes a police has been filed and they have a court date set and another one with the superior court. Also, the thing going around about Zayn wanting to pay for Nino’s surgery, its true! Melanie posted on her Instagram with a screenshot of Zayn donating $5000.
Her family isn’t in a financial position to come up with the money and NINO DOESN’T DESERVE TO DIE LIKE THIS. Here’s their gofundme page . Donations have been pouring in since 4 days ago and they’ve raised about $21,000+ as of now. Here’s a petition I’ve created and I hope you guys will help me sign this. We need Nino’s story as awareness that there is something we need to do against animal abuse.
He didn’t deserve that, no animal deserves such torture. They provide us with love that no ordinary humans can give their match to, how can they be treated like this? We need to use the voice we humans have to stand up and stop these abuse for the animals.
Please stop animal abuse.
