Introduction

Never made one before so sorry if it isn’t correct

Hello! I’m CuteCake78! I can go by Cake if you want

I write fanfics here on AO3

An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works

My schedule is a bit erratic and whatever I fixate on will change but I love writing whenever I can

I’ll post updates here on fanfics and what’s their status or just random things I like

If you want to do art of the fanfics I make, you have my permission to do so! Just give me a link to it so I can put the Author’s notes for everyone to see

If I suddenly don’t respond to comments as fast as possible, that usually means I’m focusing all my attention on the chapter or fanfic. So please be patient

I love the fact that specifically G1 Megatron’s fusion cannon can just pop off and he can just put it to the side

Like, I think he’s the only Megatron who can do that, though I could be wrong

But, I like to imagine he uses it to get stuff off of higher shelves or my personal headcanon, uses it as a pillow to rest

If Tinktaton can use her hammer as a bed, Megatron can absolutely use his gun as a pillow

Update on Chapter 7

Hey, if you guys notice that new scenes have been added to chapter 7. It's because I'm trying to refine some of the part I feel like needs a bit more love :D

Don't be surprised if some scenes that are once short are now longer, and don't worry, I won't be rewriting the chapter 7

Sometimes G1 makes me question my sanity because… this episode is real and I’ve watched this, and I’m going to find a way to put this into the fanfic

But, like how am I going to logically explain how the G1’s have access to clothing of their size in the TFP universe

Other Decepticons: war criminals, trying to conquer and enslave planets, or destroying planets after using their resources for power and control.

G1 Decepticons: stealing all the ice from the Arctic because they need it for the Energon ice cream.

(The G1 Decepticons stealing the ice is from a comment by Anorikio32 of the fic ‘Generation Prime’ by @cutecake78 )

G1 Starscream to G1 Megatron after knowing about the other Megatrons: “You know what, Megatron? You're the worst mech I’ve ever met, I want to kill you and become leader of the Decepticons. But you’re the best Megatron I’ve ever had.”

Other Autobots: “Ok, we need a plan.”

G1 Autobots: “Throw the Decepticons in the lava!”

Other Autobots: 😶

Shattered Glass Autobots: “Wow. And we are supposed to be the crazy ones.”

Shattered Glass Decepticons: “They’re crazy. You’re psychopaths.”

Sometimes I look at my notes and wonder why I wrote, “Add a scene where Starscream runs inside of a mall. I happened in the show and be great to add it into the fic”

And wonder where in the world am I going to find a mall and shove it in the middle of the fanfic without breaking immersion

This is the TFP universe, it isn’t fast and loose with logic like G1

I have to remember that despite how cute G1 is, they are filled with giant robots who will bring the destruction of the planet if given the chance

But then I see stuff like this and

I am just filled with the urge to hug them

Update on Chapter 7 of Generation Prime

Uh, it was supposed to be a short chapter like 3,000 words or so

I'm at 5,469 and I'm at the roughly 3/4's mark

I'm not sure how I did it, but I did!

Writing the section where the G1 mechs finally meet with the TFP Autobots is so much fun

Like, now I’m wondering why they haven’t done this more in the comics or in other TV shows

I haven't yapped in a while, but I'm still working on the fanfic chapter

Still going through the motions

But I'm finally done with the TFP Decepticons section, and now will start the Autobot side

Writing TFP Optimus's thoughts on the G1's is going to be so much fun!

Sometimes rewatching G1 is a mistake because what do you mean Starscream has a magnetic belly that Megatron can attach to and Megatron can be as big as a jet in his gun form

Like, being canon accurate to the cartoon for my fic is a feat unto itself but then you have stuff like this and it's just, what
