Guys, I need to get checked out. I spent all morning voraciously reading Hijack fanfiction. Then I spent all afternoon drawing Hijack. (4 posts queued baby!) Then I spent all evening planning and writing Hijack fanfiction. (Yay! 5K words in one go.)

BUT I know this isn't healthy. I like, have only eaten a bag of chips and I don't even know when I last had water. I also have final exams next week, so I need to stop doing stuff like this. Dw, I'm going to take care of myself.

But gang, I need your professional opinions on what's wrong with me. This kind of hyperfixation hasn't been a thing for me since I was in middle school.

WIP: Possible Fic Cover

Got the idea for a tragic late 90s/ early 2000s AU where Jack dies and becomes a ghost haunting Hiccup. Think basically Perks of Being a Wallflower and Twilight type somber romance vibes. Coming of age, childhood friends, and Hiccup is an outcast while Jack is popular. I don't know if anyone has seen Ghost (1990) with Patrick Swayze or Just Like Heaven (2005) with Reese Witherspoon but I think about those movies so often it was only inevitable I would come to relate Hijack to them. Surprise, surprise, they're both romance movies where one person is a ghost.

I've already written about 5k words for the fic. It's not anywhere close to being done, but if you guys are interested in it, let me know. I want to feed the fandom!

Anyways, I have a watermedia "movie poster" project due soon, so I took the excuse to put Hijack in my schoolwork. The image I have shared is a concept sketch.

The "title" comes from the song Everywhere by Michelle Branch from her 2001 Spirit Room album which is also a ghost romance story themed media. I’ll post the final piece soonish but I pray that the 15 inch by 24.5 inch canvas won’t decimate me. Unfortunately, I'm behind on all my schoolwork so it probably will. Wish me luck!

It's... done!! Hijack has prevailed!

Let it be known, dear fandom, that the malevolent masking fluid did not win! It may have beaten me to a pulp and then laughed in my face while I was down by tearing up my painting when I rubbed the dried fluid off, but still, I won! The tears actually added quite a bit of charm.

I should'nt have listened to the directions of the masking fluid and should've just watered it down anyways before applying. Now I know lol 🫠

Well, the thing is. A worm known as the ship between a dead teenager and an autistic viking has taken over my brain. I'm planning a fic, but I'm running out of space on the app I am using.
