How to be the Perfect Daddy in 10 Steps!

So I met this Daddy who shall remain anonymous on his own will on Tumblr and we went to Kik to talk more and be friends. After a while, he told me that he’s new in the community and he asked me to make some guidelines on how to be the perfect Daddy. I started to do it on Kik, but I felt like Tumblr should know this too. She will not get enough of it, I promise you. Cuddling is requirement to most Littles.

Be firm when needed. Learn how to balance tenderness with harshness. You’ll know when harshness is demanded. And by that I mean: when she’s being bratty, breaks a rule, doesn’t take care of herself or anything that you can consider bad behavior. But that should be discussed between the two of you.

Your Little will be needy, get over it. She will call you at 3am in the morning to say she had a nightmare. She will ask you to hold her when you’re watching scary movies. She will tell you she loves you 30 hours a day, ask you to watch cartoons with her and talk to her stuffies. She will want bedtime stories. If you’re not ready for that, give up on being a Daddy and try other BDSM relationships. And I don’t mean it in a bad way, I mean it in the kindest way possible.

She might be an adult, but she’s a kid/teenager in the heart. Therefore, if she does not live in Little Space 100%, she will need it eventually and that can take hours, days or a week. Sometimes, she gives up on being a grown up and wants to regress. It’s normal. That does not mean she can’t function as a normal adult, it only means that every once in a while she’s going to regress. Please be there for her when that happens.

Make rules. They should be decided between the two of you, but make sure she follows the rules. If she does not, punish her. As punishments, you can make her stand in the corner, write lines, do a task she hates (like cleaning, for example) or, the most famous, spanking.

Reward her. If she’s being a good girl, always give rewards. Always. And it doesn’t matter with what. Food, a walk in the park, a bubble bath with pink bath bombs, a trip to Disneyland, a night in with movies and snuggles. Just make her happy. If you do it everytime she deserves it, she’s going to be a good girl more often than you think. It’s fucking science, google it.

Take care of her boo boo’s. Her ouchies don’t necessarily have to be physical, they can also be psychological. Kiss them better, use Hello Kitty band-aids and tell her they’re magical healers and they’re fighting her boo boo agents in a battle to the death. Her Little heart will believe it, trust me.

Talk. Let her talk. But don’t just let her talk, talk to her too. Trust her like she trusts you. Take a time of the day to let her say how she really feels without being punished, judged, spanked or receiving bad reactions. Let her talk about a thing you did and she didn’t think it was fair or something bad that happened at work or school. Understand her. Just let her talk sometimes and talk to her too. Use a safe word to do that or establish an hour of the day. Do not ever let her get sleepies when she’s sad. Also, don’t you ever get your sleepies when you’re sad. Talk to each other. That will improve your relationship 100%, trust me.

And most importantly…

DO. NOT. IGNORE. YOUR. LITTLE.
