This is my sideblog for making and saving non‑radqueer, anti‑contact, safe para pride flags and symbols

Mod uses it/its pronouns and prefers to be referred to as a thing. (they/them is fine if you struggle with non‑normative pronouns)

I prefer not to state what my paraphilias are publicly at this time, please don't pressure me.

I'm very new to the para community and don't know everything yet, please be gentle if I say or do something wrong.

Mission Statement

GOAL 1: Inclusivity

Obviously, many paraphilia pride flags exist, but I’m personally uncomfortable using most of them. it’s hard to verify who made them, whether they’re pro‑contact or radqueer, whether they were made as "jokes" to mock paraphiles, etc. There's also the issue of lesser known paras getting sidelined because theyre "hard to design for" which is just. unfair imo

GOAL 2: Discretion

A lot of flags are a little too on-the-nose in my opinion, especially when it comes to bodily function paras, E.G. using entirely shades of brown for a copro flag, shades of yellow for a uro flag, shades of red for a haemo flag, etc. It feels a bit distasteful, like if the lesbian pride flag was just two women scissoring. I personally feel like para flags should follow more of a handkerchief code philosophy of if you know, you know, and those who don't know won't think twice. That means unique shapes, color schemes, symbols, etc.

GOAL 3: Cohesion

Mixing para flags is often unreasonably difficult. I want to make flags that follow a consistent set of rules and look good together.

GOAL 4: Accessibility

I believe it shouldn't be that difficult to find your flag/symbol, and I dream of a world where it's as easy to find a flag for your paraphilia as it is to find for any LGBTQ+ identity.

I plan to keep backups of my flags (and maybe others with permission?) and archive them on a neocities or wiki. However I am physically and cognitively disabled so it takes me a long time to get around to these things, so stay tuned for that link.

Radqueer, xenosatanist, LSDqueer, basedqueer, hypoharmful, or aligned with ideologies that condone harm toward non‑consenting parties.

Supportive of pro‑contact, neutral‑contact, or complex‑contact stances involving minors, theriform animals, or any non‑consenting beings.

Supportive of abuse, exploitation, or harm toward non‑consenting parties.

Pro- or encouraging of consang* (see below)

Engaged in censorship or exclusionism.

Against the NO‑ACT movement.

If you conflate paraphilia with queerness. They're similar communities with considerable overlap that have different goals and needs. Conflating them is harmful to both communities.

Promoting xenophobia, racism, religious intolerance, or other forms of bigotry.

CONSANG STANCE: I consider myself (and therefore this blog and my flags) to be neutral in principle, but strictly anti‑encouragement and anti‑abuse. I believe encouraging or actively seeking out consang relationships is inherently wrong and contributes to grooming/coercion. But I do not condemn every consang situation, because rare cases may occur of two people simply falling into a consang relationship without coercion or power imbalance.

If you’re a child inhabiting a legal adult body (transage, headmates, alters, etc.) MDNI does not apply to you. Additionally any time I use the word "minors" on this blog I'm referring to people who are chronologically under 18, as "minor" as a legal term applies only to them.

If you don't identify as NO-ACT specifically; As long as you're anti‑contact, kink/RACK‑aligned, and committed to consent, autonomy, and harm‑prevention, you're welcome to participate. I'm simply identifying myself under NO-ACT because it seems the most friendly to my own opinions that already existed before finding it.

note for myself mostly: ive been thinking since transID labels are overwhelmingly used by the radq community maybe i could try to coin alternative terms that are inherently tied to the NO-ACT movement for the sake of like security. cus i know i would technically probably be transage, transspecies, etc if i wasnt extremely uncomfortable w the history of the labels being overwhelmingly radq

NO-ACT paraphile movement

What does NO-ACT mean? -NO-ACT stands for "Non-Offending, Anti-Contact, Taboo" and is a movement for paraphiles who are against sexual contact with minors, theriform animals, and non-consenting people, but pro-kink and other means of safe sexual expression. The goal of this movement is for paraphilias to be destigmatized, alongside promoting abuse awareness and prevention, sexual education, and risk-aware sexual bodily autonomy. This is also a separatist movement, as NO-ACT paraphiles must disassociate entirely from beings who hold pro/neutral/complex contact stances if we ever want true destigmatization, acceptance, and abuse prevention.

This movement is… -Against pederasty/youth age gap relationships, child sexual abuse material, bestiality, bestial material, rape, and all other forms of non-consensual sexual contact or creation of sexual exploitation material. -Pro-kink/RACK, pro-fiction, and encourages finding healthy ways to express taboo paraphilias. Everything like roleplay, kink, art, fiction writing, special effects in films, and other fictional outlets. -Pro bodily autonomy in all aspects. Whether it's the right to an abortion, euthanasia, rejecting treatment, or risk-aware sex. -Pro-consang, as long as it is between two consenting adults who do not have a power imbalance. -Anti-non consensual sex with the dead, and pro-consensual* sex with the dead. People deserve the right to bodily autonomy even in death, and if someone wants to write in their will that they want people to be allowed to have sex with their corpse, it should be legal to do so. -Anti-non consensual sleep sex, and pro-consensual* sleep sex. As long as someone is following RACK principles and being careful, consenting adults should be allowed to decide for themselves whether they want to have sleep sex or not. -Against pro/neutral/complex contact** stances. It is abuse apologism, full stop, and NO-ACT does not tolerate abuse apologism or abusers.

Disclaimers: -*True consent relies on the ability to revoke consent, and since dead, sleeping, and intoxicated people cannot reliably revoke consent, there will always be a risk factor to sexual contact with the dead, sleeping, or intoxicated. NO-ACT is dedicated to both advocating for the rights of the dead, sleeping, and intoxicated - and the right to bodily autonomy for people who wish to have sex while dead, sleeping, or intoxicated. Thus, NO-ACT supports those who wish to have these experiences in a risk-aware context. Consent must be obtained beforehand, written down, and preferably legally recognized. NO-ACT advises those who wish to participate in sleep sex, sex with the dead, or similar acts that involve dubious consent to be aware of the risks, consequences, and potential harm these acts can bring before engaging in them or giving consent to engage in them with another, and to exercise upmost caution. -**Anti-contact has always and will always mean being against sexual contact with minors, theriform animals, and other non-consenting beings. This is not up for debate, NO-ACT is strict on this and does not accept pro/neutral/complex stances. -NO-ACT was made partially as a way to prevent anti-contact symbols and flags being appropriated by pro/neutral/complex-contact communities. Due to this, I try to avoid using explicitly pro-contact symbols as much as possible. -NO-ACT is inherently anti-xenosatanist and radqueer-critical, as both ideologies encourage or allow pro-contact stances. This also goes for any "contact stance neutral" paraphile groups or movements, as NO-ACT is a separatist movement.
