What does NO-ACT mean?
-NO-ACT stands for "Non-Offending, Anti-Contact, Taboo" and is a movement for paraphiles who are against sexual contact with minors, theriform animals, and non-consenting people, but pro-kink and other means of safe sexual expression. The goal of this movement is for paraphilias to be destigmatized, alongside promoting abuse awareness and prevention, sexual education, and risk-aware sexual bodily autonomy. This is also a separatist movement, as NO-ACT paraphiles must disassociate entirely from beings who hold pro/neutral/complex contact stances if we ever want true destigmatization, acceptance, and abuse prevention.

This movement is…
-Against pederasty/youth age gap relationships, child sexual abuse material, bestiality, bestial material, rape, and all other forms of non-consensual sexual contact or creation of sexual exploitation material.
-Pro-kink/RACK, pro-fiction, and encourages finding healthy ways to express taboo paraphilias. Everything like roleplay, kink, art, fiction writing, special effects in films, and other fictional outlets.
-Pro bodily autonomy in all aspects. Whether it's the right to an abortion, euthanasia, rejecting treatment, or risk-aware sex.
-Pro-consang, as long as it is between two consenting adults who do not have a power imbalance.
-Anti-non consensual sex with the dead, and pro-consensual* sex with the dead. People deserve the right to bodily autonomy even in death, and if someone wants to write in their will that they want people to be allowed to have sex with their corpse, it should be legal to do so.
-Anti-non consensual sleep sex, and pro-consensual* sleep sex. As long as someone is following RACK principles and being careful, consenting adults should be allowed to decide for themselves whether they want to have sleep sex or not.
-Against pro/neutral/complex contact** stances. It is abuse apologism, full stop, and NO-ACT does not tolerate abuse apologism or abusers.

-*True consent relies on the ability to revoke consent, and since dead, sleeping, and intoxicated people cannot reliably revoke consent, there will always be a risk factor to sexual contact with the dead, sleeping, or intoxicated. NO-ACT is dedicated to both advocating for the rights of the dead, sleeping, and intoxicated - and the right to bodily autonomy for people who wish to have sex while dead, sleeping, or intoxicated. Thus, NO-ACT supports those who wish to have these experiences in a risk-aware context. Consent must be obtained beforehand, written down, and preferably legally recognized. NO-ACT advises those who wish to participate in sleep sex, sex with the dead, or similar acts that involve dubious consent to be aware of the risks, consequences, and potential harm these acts can bring before engaging in them or giving consent to engage in them with another, and to exercise upmost caution.
-**Anti-contact has always and will always mean being against sexual contact with minors, theriform animals, and other non-consenting beings. This is not up for debate, NO-ACT is strict on this and does not accept pro/neutral/complex stances.
-NO-ACT was made partially as a way to prevent anti-contact symbols and flags being appropriated by pro/neutral/complex-contact communities. Due to this, I try to avoid using explicitly pro-contact symbols as much as possible.
-NO-ACT is inherently anti-xenosatanist and radqueer-critical, as both ideologies encourage or allow pro-contact stances. This also goes for any "contact stance neutral" paraphile groups or movements, as NO-ACT is a separatist movement.

contact stances have NEVER meant anything anti roleplay or anti-kink . anti contact is not against zoo4therian. anti contact is not against insys relationships . anti c doesnt include innerworld, spiritual, or psychological identity . anti contact is not against acting on any sexual contact that wouldn't be harmful to act upon (plushophilia, podophilia, etc)
these rules were made up for safety reasons, and its not good to be changing the meaning of them.
Demiparaphilia: when one experiences thoughts/fantasies pertaining to, derives pleasure from, and/or does not mind or likes the idea of a paraphilic attraction, but it is not prominent/present enough for one to consider it a “full” attraction.
EX: A demifictophile may have occasional thoughts about fictional characters in a sexual manner, but it is not consistent, so they consider it a demiparaphilia.

Edited June 28, 2026 to fix a minor issue with the flags (coloring issue)
Respect queer is very similar to peacequeer and purequeer. It is a radqueer-lite anti-radqueer or critical-radqueer label. It is coined with ex-radqueers in mind, but is not exclusive to ex-radqueers, anyone can use it.
The flag represents sunrise, because as stated above it is coined with ex-radqueers in mind, ones who are rising and healing. Most blankqueer terms have an emoji combo, so this would be 🌅🤍.

Understanding that the radqueer community causes harm.
Respecting all identities whether they seem cringe, weird, gross, or harmful.
Looking into labels that may seem harmful and forming opinions on that rather than gut-reactions.
Calling out groomers, abusers, predators, harassers, and bullies in an informative manner.
Not causing unnecessary drama, being inflammatory, or spreading misinformation.
Understanding that both demonizing and idealizing disorders and cultures is harmful.
Being against nonconsensual contact and abuse.
Respecting that harm can be consensual but there are groups that cannot consent. Chronominors (with the exception to close in age chronoteenagers), theriform animals, the unconscious (without prior consent), and grooming victims.
Understanding that abusers are not one-dimensional evil characters, they are deserving of punishment and help.
Punishment does not include eye for an eye treatment. Which means no death, abuse, solitary confinement, or dehumanizing tactics.

I wanted to make this thing because I know not everyone can be bothered to leave Tumblr and head over to a wiki page, and not everyone trusts what's said by radqueers about their own label (which kinda sucks, but I see where it comes from), so here's a very objective look at what radqueer means from the perspective of someone who's just really interested in it and has spent a lot of time learning in and around the space (over 4 years in fact)
I constantly have to deal with having That Reaction (you know the one) when people get info about my special interest wrong. Because of that, I also want to eventually do a transid one, maybe a para one if Tumblr doesn't kill me, and just more posts talking about the...*checks notes*...over 34,000 words and counting I've written about radqueer alone (which you can read here by the way, forever a WIP)
