My Newest Wood Burning Project I ran the June Contest on my FB page (Cute Squared) & the winner had their choice of a Duct Tape Tote Bag or a wood burned cutting board. She left it up to me so I thought I would make something her whole family could enjoy. It turned out great & she absolutely loved it! Now that I have my tools out though, I want to make something else. I'm thinking maybe something with an owl theme. What do you think? Any ideas!

Here is some of my recent pyrography work. I have enjoyed burning on wooden kitchen items like bread boards & utensils because they are functional but also decorative.

I’ve been working on a fun project this week. My little god son watches his dad play Xbox & always wants to play with him but he’s still too young. So I thought I would make him his own small Xbox controller made of felt! I cut out all the pieces, hand sewed them together & stuffed it with Polyfill. You can see my work in progress on the right & the finished product on the left. I’m mailing it to him tomorrow. I hope he loves it!
Here are a few of the Perler beads creations I’ve made recently.
I think I’m going to do a whole group of Alice in Wonderland characters for my craft room, and then maybe do another set of characters for my Etsy Shop.
I also made some nesting bowls and coasters - and have been getting special requests for custom orders!
Perler Bead creations I just started playing around with this art medium this week & have been having a great time with it! You can create anything simply by adding colored beads to a pegboard & then ironing your creation to make it a completed project. I definitely recommend this craft to anyone! It resembles pixels so creating the old 8-bit Nintendo characters comes out looking awesome! I'm going to make a few new ones next week - maybe a Mario Bros mushroom, some Disney characters & a few classic Alice in Wonderland characters.
