i sighed after the phone call i had with the mystery number, i didnt expect a call from them, but i felt scared and nervous
at the same time i was elated at the fact i received a call about my singing abilities
yuki came into my room and laid her head on my shoulder looking at the mess of balled up papers on my floor
i nodded and showed her and she chuckled
i tore the paper out and threw it on the floor with the others and sighed once more
“take this as you will but maybe it’ll help to write about vernon”
i raised my eyebrow and turned slightly to yuki and thought about it
writing about vernon hasn’t crossed my mind and im not opposed to it
“maybe i should try that yuki, thank you”
yuki kissed my cheek and ran off
“i know you like to write alone so call my name if you need me”
i smiled softly and shook my head at my roommate but was deeply thankful for her suggestion
soon as my pen hit my paper, i wrote so many curse words i surprised myself and shook my head and tore out that page
“i just keep writing curses, you deserve it”
i gasped and ran to my drawer and decided to make a song based off of this and the letter i written about vernon not necessarily to give to him because i didnt want him to know how i truly felt about him
i reread the letter and turned the words into lyrics and was pretty satisfied with how it turned out and called yuki into my room
she took the lyrics on my paper and read it and nearly screamed
“this is so good, send it to them”
i yawned into my hand and nodded “will do, thank you yuki”
yuki noticed how sleepy i was and decided to type and email the song for me and i told her i would pay her back
for helping me with life and with all of the blank pages of potential songs
