many sharks are at least moderately social, and if a specific species of shark has the ability to breathe without actually swimming and tends to have a lot of sharks in a fairly small area, well.

they are just going to Pile. and there is simply nothing you can do about it.

also, fun fact! whitetip reef sharks in particular are SO damn cuddly with each other that they'll actively seek out a buddy or ten when they get sleepy!

it's pretty much slumber party or nothing for these guys. you won't find a whitetip sleeping alone except in the most dire and tragic of shark circumstances.

spinner sharks!

spinner sharks are sharks which live in many subtropical waters, such as the mediterranean and the gulf of mexico!

these sharks get their name from the way they spin out of the water to catch prey

they prefer shallower offshore waters no more than 350 feet deep!

spinner sharks grow from 6–10 feet in length

they grow roughly 2 inches a year until maturity, for 10-20 years!

spinner sharks can leap up to 20 feet in the air :]

Hi daddyzarc! You really seem to love sharks! I was wondering what some of your favorite sharks are?

CATSHARKS!!!

I love catsharks, and if you wanna narrow it down, my faves are the Brownbanded Bamboo Shark and Chain Catshark

Some other faves are the Port Jackson Shark 

And the Bluntnose Sixgill Shark because they are friend-shaped

But I think my highest fave has to be my dear friend, Reginald Ryouga Shark “Nasch-Nash” Kamishiro Kastle, who I believe is a blue shark?

He doesn’t like to talk all that much but here he is, working away like the workaholic he is
