that scene with the guard breaking into that twiggy little murderer guy's home 💀 like just the pure concentrated dumbassery and unstable himbo energy that radiated off those boys back when they were just well-meaning jocks and bodyguards and not brainwashed goons for campbell.... some of the best tv i'd seen in a while, it was ahead of the curve. moments like that reassured me that i would gel with this shows' sense of humor... and i was so right, the rest of the season's light-hearted moments were done so well that's partly why i think i liked it so much ya know... like the writers actually understood what teens found funny and set up punchlines in a smart way. unlike. some other shows cough riverdale

and the drama was good too and not too over the top or unrealistic for a bunch of unsupervised teenagers. they could've really gone on to make a commentary on like mob mentality and corruption in the ranks and abuse of power and the fast spread of misinformation and holding steadfast against a political tide that would mean the worst for society uhh democracy vs authoritarianism..... idk stuff that is certainly relevant right now. i just think it had potential but now we'll never know

at this point i seriously will not be starting any more netflix originals. i was going to watch warrior nun and umbrella academy s2 but now i won't. i'm so full of spite and hate for netflix but also there's just literally no point. and it sucks bc unless i cancel my subscription it doesn't even matter. they're not gonna feel the blow of me ceasing my viewership @ their originals at all. netflix really treats their customers like trash huh.

i'm super picky about media so i don't really have too many things that bring me joy the way the society did. ig i can't say i'm surprised this show was cancelled since netflix ALWAYS cancels all the shows i love. the get down, one day at a time, american vandal, etc. but it's still just really awful news during a year that's already really awful.

i was really looking forward to s2, this is the first netflix original i ever got super into like this. all the questions i had like who's the dad of becca's baby, what will be done with the new land, who saves allie and will, does ellie ever gets her revenge, where did the parents go, etc. will never be answered.

don't understand why s2 was confirmed at all if they were going to pull this shit. did covid-19 ruin it? why cancel it and not just put it on hiatus. i don't know. i've been through this disappointment with netflix so many times that i should be over it by now but i'm not. this sucks.
