It's my 15 year anniversary on Tumblr 🥳 🎉💯

Wow! I don't post often on Tumblr or at all as of lately. When I think of Tumblr - which is not often, I'll come over here & check it out. It is quite amazing that I've had this blog for about half of the years I've been alive & I'm in the 3rd decade of my lifetime. Or perhaps it is the 4th decade because years 1 - 10 (1st decade), years 11 - 20 (2nd decade), years 21 - 30 (3rd decade) & then, there's years 31 - 40 (4th decade). See? It makes sense. It is the 4th decade.

Anyways, it is great to be here - even though SO MUCH is going on in the world that it can be a bit difficult to keep up.

One thing I really like about Tumblr: no politics.

I wonder if the people I follow are still on here. I don't recall their names on Tumblr, because there's Instagram, now. I'm more active on there. Maybe I should explore Tumblr more & see who is still on here & check new blogs to follow. I have a seperate blog on here: mindwild - but I didn't use it as often when I 1st started that one. I wanted to differentiate myself from this "original" blog. I don't have a seperate blog from Tumblr, btw.

Hello, my name is Areej Kassab. I’m a 27-year-old English teacher and writer from Gaza, and I’m reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a desperate plea for support. My family and I are enduring unimaginable hardships as relentless bombings devastate our home and our dreams.

We are a family of 15—10 adults and 5 children. Every day is a battle for survival. Food is scarce, humanitarian aid is not reaching us, and my little nieces and nephews go to bed hungry.
