“When ever I think about myself. I think of pencil markings on paper. Not the ones you keep. No, the one’s you erase because the idea was stupid. I feel like I’m this mistake that someone brought into their life, and said, “This was a good idea in my head.“ And then they got it on their paper and after staring at it said, “Oh wow. That was a mistake.” And erased it with one of those crappy eraser stubs. And I’m still there, and they write over it with a better idea, trying to get me to disappear, but there I am, this annoying mistake behind the good idea. I feel like I’m a burden. And as times goes on, and they try harder to erase me, that I fade. Until I’m nothing. Nothing but an imprint, a fading idea that falls into the very back corners and trenches, slipped into the cracks and crannies of a person’s memory.”
