Custom shirts or the Juan just for you...
Here is a perfect example of what we're talking about... Kaitlyn came to us with a Detones shirt, and gave us free reign to do whatever we wanted to it. What we came up with she loved! The Black Widow in Deftones:

The Black Widow is a cut design that is easily done on plain color shirts or shirts like Kaitlyn's that have a graphic on the front. If, you want this design all you need to do is go to our contact us page tell us what cut of the shirt (tanked, off one shoulder, wide neck, razor back etc etc etc) and what design you like (black widow, Juan star, ribbed for her pleasure, black lung, Juan hyperventilated, or any design you see on this site). We can also try to cut a shirt up in a design you suggest (I say try, because sometimes designs won't come out looking the way they are envisioned trust us on that, we have had a many whoopees daisies) just make sure you also email us a reference or try to describe what it is you're seeing in that beautiful head of yours.
Bella, has been watching us work since we started this business, and has been begging and begging (as 10 year old do) to cut up one of her shirts, finally the day came when she found the perfect shirt and got permission to hack it up like we do.
She borrowed out tools and our fabric board and made the marks, made the cuts, and the did the design herself. We are so impressed by her talent and the way the shirt turned out. Everyone at her school loved the shirt and asked if they can have one too.
We have been thinking about doing kids clothes, and babies clothes too, look forward to that in the future as well.

First, Thank you all for your support and love, we have a lot of new and interesting ideas that we want to explore, so this blog is going to be about one of those ideas that sparked in our heads and we ran with, and luckily for us, these guys below were right on board. So here is a little about the bands...
Wheathouse has an interesting back story, In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly formed a rock n' roll band with musical roots in 70's southern Rock and 90's grunge. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can pay them in whiskey and cigarettes, maybe you can hire Wheathouse. Wheathouse was voted best rock band in 2013 by the Nashville Independent Music Association and "people's choice" rock band by the Music City Mayhem Awards. Their debut full length album "Days Since Past" was released in April of 2014.
Erik's Own has a classical, acoustic, rock sound right out of Glasgow, and has had the pleasure of working with Di Lee, when she was touring the UK. He also has his own radio station called EDA Music Radio that features independent artists. He also has his own label EDA Music and a film production business called EDA Films. Besides his music he is starting his own business network called Scottish Buzz Network.
Indidgibliss is out of Wausau, WI they have a nice stomp, roots, rock thing going on and it's pretty snazzy. These awesome dudes are sending us some of their band shirts to work our magic on and post up on the sites.
Stereo Burn is a hard rock band from Columbia, TN, they're kind of taking a break right now while they look for a drummer and a bassist, so spread the work help these guys out!
For Lack of Lythium is from Nashville TN and these guys have taken home Peoples Choice Rock award from the 2013 Music Mayhem Awards. Keep an eye out for these guys playing shows, and our shirts at the shows. For Lack of Lythium is endorsed by Halo Custom Guitars, WB Gear (SITStrings, In-Tune Picks, Mental Cases), Soultone Cymbals, Xcel Drum Sticks, Big Bends Nut Sauce, and Lava Cables. They also like pie.

Cut the Funk Up Shirts was started by myself (Jess) and a wonderful gal George. We started years ago and fell in love with it. We spend most of our days cutting up shirts, playing with our kids and animals. This was a bit of a boring read, I know however more interesting things are to come
