Do you ever get that feeling where you know you just made a step closer to who you want to be? Tonight I watched a Rom Com and it left me with that warm fuzzy lovey dovey feeling, and I was just so unapologetic about it. I just feel so free, so strong that I could announce to the world that I love dumb rom coms. People can go ahead and tell me the writing sucks and the characters are barely even one dimensional, but for those two hours, I was all smiley and so warm afterwards, and I do not feel badly about this.

You really can’t fault Taylor for Getaway car. It’s such an amazing song and she apologizes for using him like that. She doesn’t hurt anyone on purpose, but she knows what she did was wrong. She needed to get out and he was there. Sometimes you aren’t in a relationship for the long haul, and I think that should be more acceptable. Especially for Taylor.

Getaway Car sounds like her so much. It’s so beat and emotional and wonderful and amazing. It’s not classic Tay, nothing on this album is, which is the point (and is what always happens, she always sounds different, look back) but it can’t be anyone else. No one else could have created it, and no one else could preform it better. Like some of the covers of her other songs are great, and I totally believed Little Big Town wrote Better Man at first, but this is just SO HER while being SO DIFFERENT. It’s so hard to explain. The way she hits some of those notes, and her inflections, and EVERYTHING. SO GREAT

This is exactly the GOP tax plan. Give a huge tax cut to the top 1%, and then claim that the “average American family” will get $4,000 break. Guess what? It doesn’t work that way. Know the difference between mean, median, and mode.

“Trickle-down economics” means we get the crumbs from the billionaires [who are buying GOP politicians].

Also, studies show that tax cuts for corporations DO NOT translate to more income for employees of those corporations.  Just because their federal tax burden is lowered, those corporations historically do not raise worker wages.  That isn’t how 99.99% of employers behave.  If you want to raise the take-home pay of working class people, give a tax break TO WORKING CLASS PEOPLE.

Does anyone else have those old TS songs that they were like “this is great!” but couldn’t perfectly relate like they do to other songs? Enchanted just clicked for me, like every line. Taylor Swift: The Gift that Continually Gives.

Every interview with one of Taylor’s friends, they all say the same thing: she’s happy. And the fact they all feel the need to say it shows that she wasn’t happy before now but she’s happy now and I just wanna cry. She’s finally happy, not just in a relationship, but in life and and her career and everything. She’s happy guys.
