“I still thought it was rather quiet, but I guess that depends on a person’s perspective.”

“This town is getting way too loud. What happened to the quiet part of the ‘quiet small town life’ cliché?”
“I still thought it was rather quiet, but I guess that depends on a person’s perspective.”
“ Quelle maledetto pioggia. ” As she looked through the window towards the outside, her nose wrinkled in distaste. Of all the places the Volturi could have gone, of all the places trouble could have occurred, it had to be this one. She turned back, her expression sour, and she couldn’t help it when she caught the gaze of someone else in the room. Her eyes narrowed, and the words spilt from her lips before she could think it through – “How can you stand all of this rain?”
Chelsea entered the room, glancing curiously out the window at the object of Corin’s distraction. She couldn’t help shrugging her shoulders, a small smile edging onto her face. “I rather enjoy it,” she confessed. “We can go outside, interact with humans. It’s not everyone’s favorite thing, but I happen to enjoy it.”
Bree realized that her eyes finally turned from their red color to a gold color after a month of being a vegetarian vampire. “Today is a wonderful day, isn’t it?”
Chelsea raised her eyebrows, immediately taking note of the significant change in the young vampire. “It is, indeed. Quite an interesting day, too.”
*✧. — “I don’t get it,” athenodora finally admitted with defeat, looking at the person next to her with a pinched forehead.
“What is it you don’t understand?” Chelsea asked patiently.
“Don’t touch me.”
“My apologies. You just looked -- distraught, I suppose,” Chelsea said, removing her hand from the woman’s shoulder.
cammie looked around at the crowd. forks was so small, so boring, that if they were allowed to feed on humans within the town limits, cammie might find herself bored by the idea. the volturi coven member sighed, ‘ this place is so dull. how can one stand to live here for their entire lives? ’
Chelsea’s eyes roamed over the crowds of unsuspecting humans that roamed the streets, and smiled. “I believe it’s the draw of being able to go out in the daytime,” she said with a shrug. “I know that I certainly enjoy it. Don’t you?”
I may not be a wolf but my temper is just like one..
“Is that something to be proud of?”
Bree had only left her hideout to feed and go to school. She did her best to avoid the Volturi. She walked down the street looking for someone to pick pocket. After returning Bree had no money or anything, so she only got things through stealing. She walked behind someone before taking their wallet out of their pocket before walking down an alley.
Chelsea was immediately suspicious when she caught sight of the girl that had apparently risen from the dead. She kept a safe distance while she observed her, lips quirking into an amused smile as she watched her pluck the wallet from an unsuspecting human’s pocket. She followed her casually into the alley before speaking. “I’m not one with any particular regard for human law, so I won’t lecture you on that.”
Spencer actually enjoyed the rain, he usually just walked around in it, not even running, just walking and letting himself feel how every single drop of water hit his skin, it was distracting him, at least when he was hungry, and he didn’t feel like having a squirrel. He saw someone in front of him, dropping something from their pocket and he rushed over to the person without waking any suspicion. “I think you dropped this” He said as he held the item up in front of the person.
The rain in Forks was undoubtedly drab, but Chelsea found that she truly didn’t mind much, especially when it gave her the change to go out and be a part of the world. She reminded herself of all the human impulses she attempted to keep in her brain as she walked, focusing so hard on it that everything else faded from her mind. It truly wasn’t an act when she jumped in surprise upon hearing another voice next to her. “Thank you,” Chelsea said, holding her hand out for the wallet she’d dropped. “I’m clearly not paying enough attention.”
the small town of forks was alluring in its own little way, far from in a way that caught adela’s attention. however, despite her personal preference there was a certain charm to the place. people were friendly, their greetings accompanied by a smile as she wandered the streets. still, after thousands of years it still did bring her joy to discover and re-discover places like this.
Chelsea had actually been enjoying her time in Forks. She hadn’t realized that she’d been yearning for a change of pace until she was actually in a completely different setting. She glanced up as she wandered -- she had no need to, she was perfectly able to keep her attention focused on the book in her hand and navigate at the same time, but it was a human gesture. She looked up just in time to catch the gaze of another vampire. Chelsea paused, her dark eyes assessing the original in a cautious manner.
“I would love to know why Marcus chose to bring us to this town out of all the other places we could have lived…”
“At first I thought the same, but I’ve grown used to it. It’s ... somewhat serene, actually.”
❛ i am now back from a trip that felt like it took a million years. why does aro always make me do his stuff for him instead of anyone else ? ❜
“At least he trusts you with his business.”
“I just got this huge client today and I am in need of a real celebration!”
“How lovely for you. You should get yourself some champagne, or something.”
“Keys?” Gabby tilted her head, looking around. “You know, I can’t say I have. Where was the last place you had them?”
“I had them when I got here,” Chelsea mused, feeling her pockets again. “I didn’t check after I walked through the door. I guess it’s my fault for being careless.”
“Again, I’ll take your word for it. I doubt I would enjoy it as much, I’d rather not be reminded of events I’ve tried to forget. There haven’t been too many more murders, the reason why most people came here seems to have gone away so I don’t see what is holding people here.”
“Suit yourself. I suppose that’s true, but then again, this place does seem to have a certain magnetism to it, don’t you think? Otherwise, the risen dead would likely have been drawn elsewhere.”
“S.A.D is a real thing, so I gotta stay as perky as possible. But thank you, it takes some effort.”
“S.A.D.? I can’t say I’ve really heard of that. I can tell, though. I’d get tired of it in mere minutes.”
“I’ll make sure to keep an eye out for them. They shouldn’t be too hard to find if they don’t have much on them.”
“Thank you, I appreciate it. People in this town are much kinder than I expected.”
