Their relationship was beautiful and I will be extremely uncharitable to "fans" that focus purely on the potential self-cest and ignore Nasha's importance as the ONE PERSON that saw Mickey as a human being enduring constant suffering on humanity's behalf. He literally says that she's all that matters to him and even he doesn't understand how or why she'd love someone like him (he deems himself as unlovable or not good enough for someone like her) and yet she has loved EVERY version of him. Clingy, needy, or dumb, it never mattered as long as it was Mickey. She loves him so completely that even when there are two, she still refuses to share him. Their love is so real and I'm ill every time that scene starts with her in the hazmat suit holding him while he's dying again from the litany of horrors by the science unit.
