He’s not perfect, yet at the same time, the northern lights pale in comparison to his brilliant aura. Naming a constellation after him would not be enough to justify the beauty of his name. A collection of poems won’t suffice to express the universes in his smile and eyes. If only he can see what I see. Maybe he’ll realize how storms became beautiful because of him and why the sound of rain became even more refreshing because the raindrops remind me of how I’m falling for him

CL for ELLE Magazine (October 2014)
130914; One year anniversary---Wedding Escapade.
They stood together for a few moments, gazing at each other in their wedding garb, sand squishing between their naked toes – they had cast aside shoes earlier, admitting to the inconvenience of them on sand - while Jiyong took in the sight of Chaerin in her floaty, goddess dress. The small dimple in her cheek accented the bright smile nestled on her lips, he wanted to kiss it. Both her hands were clasped around the small bridal bouquet, he took a mental note to later tuck one of the flowers in her hair, that sure would look lovely. Suddenly Jiyong realised they’d been standing there for quiet some time without any movement so he initiated the movement by offering his arm. “Shall we?” He lead his soon-to-be-wife towards the small arch placed in the sand, following the trail of red petals. Balking in the perfect feeling of another victory for his tiny family he halted in front of the ceremonial master about to wed them. The couple said their wedding vows to the sound of waves lapping on the shore, the salty tang of the sea mingled with the soft vanilla scent of Chaerin’s perfume. Both of their palms were a little sweaty, from nerves or because of the afternoon heath, he couldn’t quite tell. In that moment he was perfectly happy.
Jiyong thought of the small house in the countryside they would buy and the animals they would foster while gliding the wedding ring over her finger saying, “I do. Forever.” They’d continue their career together and when their lives would lull back into something more quiet and anonymous they would have the assurance of each other. Music would always be a part of their life together, as well as enrich it but with age came the decline of fame and spotlights. They had each other to replace that passion and activity, the promise of something more quiet, something he had come to long for more and more.
When she said her “I do” he almost jumped in excitement, barely able to stand still until they were pronounced husband and wife. Jiyong kissed the bride with a lot of fervour but also rather gently as to not make a mess of their first kiss as a married couple. After he pulled back, the first thing he did was pluck a white flower from the bouquet and place it in Chaerin’s long, honey locks. “There. You never looked more lovely.” he grinned and kissed his girl’s nose, only slightly surprised by the small click of a camera. Unlike his first instinct that told him to run from the paparazzi, his second thought reminded him that this was someone hired to provide pictures for their wedding album. After that short moment he completely ignored the lens, too happy to care about anything outside Chaerin’s and his’ little world. His arms slipped around her waist, her bouquet dropped in the sand when they started waltzing around, awkwardly moving through the warm, dry sand. Her skirts swept up a bit in the breeze, fluttering about their legs while they grew breathless. Chaerin almost fell over but not quite, Jiyong steadying both of them.
The newly weds’ made a short walk along the surf as the light ever slightly began to dim. They talked about everything and nothing, contemplating their life and future goals together as the waves splashed at their ankles. Upon their return to the spot where they first started out, Jiyong had a pocket full of seashells with sand as well as a heart full of happiness. Next he invited his wife to their small dinner table in a circle of small candlelights that where lit by now. “Let’s give our tummies as well as our hearts something to feed and feast on!”
Now that Jiyong brought up the subject, Chaerin noticed her peacefully snoring tummy starting to make a grumbling sound. Throughout the day, she was oblivious of anything else, purely savoring the dream-comes-true to her heart content. Her mind, racing in union with her heart beat, was still overwhelmed by too much emotional frenzy. Maybe it was the whole wedding concept of which them both had planned weeks ago. Maybe it was the salty air and comforting sound the ocean waves made. Maybe it was the warm bright sun. Maybe it was the canopy. Maybe it was her dress, that made her feel thousands time confident. Maybe it was Jiyong's-- everything; he smiled his breathtaking smile that seemed like thousands time more breathtaking than ever, he let the wind ruining his hair yet the perfect messy locks only enhanced his already flawless feature, the black tuxedo fitting his head-to-toe posture simply added the sweet torture, his voice deepen and softer, and his kiss-- well, she tried to remind herself not to latch onto him and prolong the kiss before they start wrestling in the sand. It could also be their vows, their I do, or their beautiful matching wedding rings. Could it be the peaceful surroundings? There was no familiar faces around, family nor friends, only a few of wedding staff Jiyong hired that she believed were locals and could hardly figure out who Chaerin and Jiyong were. Literally, it was only the two of them. Just the way they wanted their wedding to be. All of their time, whereabout, at when, with whom, what they do, have always been open for the world to see. It wasn't that they did not prefer to share such an important phase of their life to their loved ones and fans, but it was never their dream to have extravagant wedding with loud music and deafening cheers collided. Sadly, it would be no different with being on stage, at least that's what it would make her feel. Perhaps it was indeed the solitude. Or perhaps... it was all the above basking her all at once that even dozen and dozen shots of sweetest wine would feel nothing compare to this kind of ecstasy.
After finishing off their main dish (Jiyong again helped finishing half of her portion, such a dedicated and thoughtful husband), she couldn't believe she was already in her third time cutting a piece of their lovely wedding cake for Jiyong to devour. Chaerin was torn in between wanting to roll her eyes and laugh in amusement. She stabbed a forkful of the sweet treat and flew it towards his open mouth where his teeth graciously chomped the food into little bits. She loved feeding him, that was all. Though Jiyong once said it was common doing to some people, it was uncommon and quite intimate for him; and ever since she only wanted her common habit to be only for him. Jiyong's cheeks puffed as they were filled with food. Him munching gleefully, showcasing his inner five year old self yet contradicting the sexy man figure in the tuxedo. Nevertheless, she watched her husband's charm with awe, and a bit of inaudible giggle. His liveliness in little things, whether or not he realized it, very charming and contagious.
The air was getting colder and colder now as the moon had taken what's been the sun place. The romantic candlelit dinner had removed from the sight and the staff quickly prepared a cosy mattress on the wooden divan for them to stargaze. Jiyong had secured Chaerin from the biting cold with his jacket and the warmth of his embrace. However, she could not really enjoy the countless light dots of stars spread across the black sky, no matter how mesmerizing and calming they were. Not when her mind kept flying back to the secret box and her bag at the cottage. Her presents for him. She didn't think it would turn out to be such a big big celebration than just a one year anniversary. She knew Jiyong wouldn't like it if he found out simple thing like this troubled her this much, but to her dismay, who can tell the heart to stop feeling guilty? He practically just made their dreams come true. He had given way too big that what she had prepared for him seem ridiculously way too small. Almost considering to back away, Chaerin unconsciously sighed loudly. Quite aloud it caused Jiyong to raise himself up slightly and look down at her with obvious concern, "Are you getting too cold? Sleepy? Are you okay?"
"Yes, I'm fine." and there she made a lie on the first day as a wife, she immediately bit the inner of her bottom lip and squeezes her eyes shut, internally cursing aloud at herself, dammit Chae. Lying for anything was the last thing she wanted to do to him and herself, even white lie is intolerable to her pride. Fingers fumbling with his collar, she smiled up at him, "I"m just thinking about something I have back in our room. Can we go in? I have.. a little something for you," Jiyong looked still a bit concern and curious but he proceeded to lift Chaerin up bridal style with no further questions. His arms created its magical healing in comforting her. For a moment she forgot how worried she was with her little trouble and gave in to the playful temptation to torture him as he walked her to their room, She wrapped her arms around his neck and snuggled close against his chest, raining kisses on his neck traveled up to his jawline, ear, hair, temple and anywhere to distract him from walking. "I am trying to walk and not drop my wife at the same time here, Mrs Kwon. I'm suspicious now looking at your sudden change of mood while I haven't even particularly done anything to you...," Jiyong pushed the bedroom door using his back, his eyes glued at hers as he carefully stepped in and sat down at the edge of the bed, putting her in his lap before continuing, his eyes was solemn but his further exclaim was completely shocking to her amusement, ".. tell me, A little something for me-- and then teasing kisses. Do you.. bring a toy, if you know what I mean?"
It took her a good few seconds to compose herself from satisfying laugh before she managed to speak coherently, "Don't get too cocky, m'love. I don't get to bring my.. rilakkuma with me, if you know what I mean." She wrinkled up her nose and got off his lap, still emitting a quite chuckle. Her husband's sexual innuendo, mixed with cutesy producing a doze of good laugh that ease her anxiety a bit. She tried to convince herself, no matter how simple her gifts were, it would not be a matter for she wanted him to know he deserved all kind spark of happiness, from the smallest to biggest ones. So here she was, sitting next to him with a big box on her feet and a small blue notebook in her hands. She handed him the small book, "Read the first f e w pages that is written by me and you can write the rest about anything. Your lyrics, doodles, anything. And also, I've got us a couple skateboards." She opened the hook on the box, revealing two unique identical skateboards. Biting down her bottom lip, she fumbled with her own fingers, naturally her brows knitted together showing her concern whether he was pleased with it, "I know it isn't much, it's actually not much at all-- I just don't know you'd take a big leap today so everything I have for you, I just feel like it won't be as much as you've given me today. But I remember, we will skateboard for our next date, so I found a couple for us. And the letter in the book.. I wrote it before Saturday and I kept it all along in my bag. I haven't added anything since you took me here so obviously I didn't say anything about the wedding. Well, how should I put it, I have the tendency of writing you a novel, I guess." She only was able to shrug a bit with a rather apologetic smile, "I hope it's all okay? I can't say how happy I am today, I'd never measure how much. I hope these don't diminish it? Happy one year anniversary..," Chaerin reached out to place her palm on Jiyong's cheek, a shade of crimson faintly painted upon her cheeks as she words out the word that had been used one year ago when they both were in a game, now the taste of addressing him with the real meaning made her tummy giddy, "Yeobo."'

Your boobs are correct. And let’s pretend you’re wearing 10inch heels or something. At least the complexion of your face suits the rest of your body. Did you see me? THAT’s nonsense.
I like it very much actually, lemme crawl under those skirts…. Uh, I mean… You are a picture perfect!
I magically, suddenly, became taller than you!.. And has delicious cleavage-- That heels will sink in the sand anyway and I prefer flip flop or comfortably barefoot. [`quickly covers her chuckle with a loud cough;] You chose the perfect tuxedo and perfect smile. If you call yourself nonsense once again, all I can say is I love your nonsense!
.... no crawling under anything before I hit you with the bride bouquet. I am kidding--- you're welcomed under even without invitation actually.
Rest in peace unnamed driver
It seems a lot of people don’t give a shit about him, but he’s human too and I hope his family and close ones goes through this hard time like the others who have died but unlike them, he has no fans to pray for him and his family or a tag.
This is probably the only thing I will post that’s related to the car accident.
So it’s not just 1 or 2.
It’s 3 people.

He was nervous. He didn’t remember ever being this nervous. Not even at Big Bang’s debut. Butterflies filled his stomach, the movement of their wings made him nauseous. Luckily he hadn’t eaten anything since waking up or it would have ended on his neatly polished shoes a couple of minutes ago. He switched the huge bouquet of assorted flowers to his left arm to open the glass door in front of him. A quick greeting was granted with a nod of his head while passing by Xin, the other answered with a knowing smile and a wink. Jiyong knew he had just come from the studio he himself was heading towards right at that very moment. The couple’s close friend had seen to it that Chaerin was distracted during the morning while Jiyong was seeing to the last preparations of his grand scheme. Without a word, the two males had a small exchange, Jiyong tossed over the keys of his and Chaerin’s home.
Jiyong walked on, knocking shortly on the studio door behind which his fiancé would be working hard, obeying fake orders of Yang sajangnim. It was, after all, only the twelfth of September. As expected, she was sitting with her back to the door, engrossed in the music diagrams in front of her. The bouquet took away some of his view but he could still notice her head bobbing up and down slightly. A light cough escaped him, it was then she took notice of his presence. After her startled look he was allowed for a moment to bath in the grace of her smile. He handed her the flowers to get a better look at the picture perfect standing in front of him, a goofy smile taking over his own features before his nerves came raging back. “I made reservations for dinner…” he informed her. Of course she immediately came to the conclusion she needed another outfit, and a shower. He had come prepared for this reaction so he at once steered her towards the YG shower room while he picked out an outfit for her himself. A big amount of their garb was company owned so the more fancy outfits usually stayed in the building, accordingly it was not a very hard job to find the right dress to match with his own rather fancy suit. When emerging from the shower, however, a small struggle ensued over the fact it was not exactly the dress Chaerin herself would have chosen. Eventually he let her win the little game, she pulled on the dress he chose anyway. The rest of the evening was rather perfect; the restaurant Jiyong had chosen was small with a private atmosphere, the food and wine delicious and top class (even though Jiyong had to finish almost half of Chaerin’s portions, as usual), the warm autumn air perfect for a short stroll afterward. Chaerin was blinking sleepily by the time the couple got back into the car to start out on their way home. On the other end there were Jiyong’s nerves racing at high speed again, as he knew their evening was not nearly at an end. The actual surprise was still to come, he hoped she would not disagree with his plan, or the fact that he had taken matters in his own hands. While she dozed in serene silence, he was clenching his teeth so hard his jaw started to hurt. Should he go through with this or blow it all off?
A long deep breath steadied his shaky hands and served at the same time to push his nerves to a far dark corner of his consciousness. Quietly he crept out of the care, careful not to wake up his beloved and proceeded to make his way into their apartment. Four suitcases were waiting in the hallway, Jiyong took note of the suitcase Seungho had prepared for him before bringing them downstairs two by two. When the suitcases were loaded, Jiyong got back in the car driving them to the airport. He considered himself lucky Chaerin was sleeping so soundly and accordingly wouldn’t notice a thing until they reached Incheon.
He made sure to check in the baggage with an airport assistant waiting for them in the VIP parking lot of the airport. Everything had been arranged so the couples little escape might go completely unnoticed to the public, Yang sajangnim had helped take care of that. Jiyong smiled to himself when recalling the many arguments that preceded the final approval of his boss. It had been a struggle but Jiyong had not backed down on this, no matter how little the CEO had liked it. Yet, here he was, abducting his own girlfriend! A small laugh escaped him at the absurd idea, which earned him a funny look from the airport assistant.
Next came the hardest part, waking up Chaerin and getting her on the airplane without too much drama. The procedure earned him a lot of glares and tugging at his sleeve and nagging. Their final destination was however revealed to her when boarding; Bali.
After a long and somewhat unnerving flight, lots of questioning and bickering they finally landed on the small island, making their way to a rather small and private beach reserved for the occasion. A few yards away was a cottage with sea view that he had managed to rent, as well as an arrangement with the owner to put up some decors for his purpose.
It was here Jiyong finally revealed his true surprise; he turned towards Chaerin and took her small hand in his, “Chaerin? Will you marry me here and now?”
Have you ever had so much things happened in one day that even though you blinked your eyes, breathed in and out, think so hard till your forehead line wrinkled in hope to process all at once, but you still left astonished? Chaerin was sure that this was it.
In abrupt flash, she remembered how disappointed she was when her phone rung in the late evening, a duty call from Yang Sajangnim that she recalled had given her permission to go home early today and take a day off tomorrow. He knew her purpose so well---she was about to use her limited time at night and early dawn to prepare her presents for her and Jiyong's one year anniversary---why all of a sudden with his change of mind? With a frustrated sigh of annoyance, it took all her will, strength and responsibility as a leader not to ruin those music sheets she had worked on for days and doodle nonsense and childish drawings on it. Jiyong's unexpected arrival indeed diminished her exasperation ever so quickly, allowing a fond smile smoothly made its way on her lips.
11.19 PM.
Slipping her phone into her bag, she tried to lean back against the back seat and made peace with her mind; no wonder she was sleepy but she just couldn't let herself sleep yet. Jiyong's present wasn't done and impending stuff to do was just not her forte, it always made her grumpy and agitated. Though she realized it was already a bit too late to sneak around preparing Jiyong's present, it was even more improbable with him already next to her now. 'I still can make it at dawn tomorrow', nothing else you could do other than self-reassurance, right? She pondered alone as her eyes effortlessly letting the blurry lines of lights dash through when Jiyong's car brought them back home. Few seconds later, she found herself texting Xin, asking him to wrap up the things she just bought discreetly and kept it somewhere, only she could know where, safe. 'Just in case' she thought to herself. For the last time after countless, she took a glance at him in between lazy blinks. Subtly noticing as though he was quite tensed and restless for the past hours he was with her, but her tired eyes, warm tummy and drowsiness took her without much effort, leaving her with no chance to assure herself whether Jiyong was okay.
03.28 PM.
What on earth actually happened? Either she was dreaming or already awake in reality, she just couldn't grab the situation where a few hours ago she still peacefully slept in the car and now she silently sat in the cushioned seat by the window- on the plane. Where to? Her heart nearly leaped out of her chest when she heard clearly the faceless voice in the airport announced their plane was about to board to Bali. They were going to the place only she and Jiyong knew how special it was. What for? Does he tell anyone about this before we leave? Yang Sajaning gave his permission?
"Are we running away, quitting our idol careers and start our fisher family there?" Most likely Jiyong took the last question out of many as the stupidest one, but at least it made him laugh out and I earned myself more than just a repetitive no; a flick on the forehead and longer answer, "No, you silly fart. Now shush and go back to sleep."
And now, Chaerin wasn't sure what time it was nor she cared about it anymore... She couldn't avert her slowly teared up eyes at the view in front of her; the beach as the background with the bamboo canopy and two floral accents on it, the set up dinner table for two, the perfect cottage for them to rest later for the rest of the week. Every time she inhaled, she breathed in the salty warm air into her lungs; the familiar scent only Bali had the special reminisce in it. She let the wind brush its palm against her cheek while the sun kissed every inch of her exposed flesh, lovingly completing the heartwarming moment as she lightly squeezed Jiyong's hand, alarming him that her few minutes silence and trans was just her trying to absorbing the unexpected big day and not choking on her own happy tears just yet.
Gaze fixated at his, she realized she couldn't wait any longer to be his wife. Before her throat filled with too much air as if a balloon filled up inside, she huskily answered, somewhat wanted to give a charming answer but ended up with an emotional, "Yes, yes! Of course, you silly! I will--" and launch herself to suffocate her poor shocking man in a hug, just realizing his body was just as shaking and his muffled laugh was just as husky as hers. She knew this took all his might and nerve to bring her here, and she could only hope her hugs and final answer would erase all his worry and doubts.
With the help of the professional wedding organizer staff, in less than an hour, Chaerin and Jiyong both dressed up to their respective dress and tuxedo. Chaerin held up the bride's bouquet a bit higher against her chest. This was real. She looked down at her wedding dress which Xin was so kindly letting her bug him endlessly to find the perfect one, and so nice that he helped packing it in her suitcase without her knowing.. Knotting the dots, now she sort of understood why Jiyong seemed so anxious last night. The realization made her chuckled to herself. This was very real. She looked up to the soon-to-be-her-husband and her heart leaped out of her chest for sure this time. He was the realest dream that comes true. ---and man can he stop being extremely handsome in that tuxedo.... She actually had so many to say---that she's a bit mad because all this surprises were overwhelmed her that it made her forget to wish him happy anniversary; that he's an idiot, her idiot, for going through so many hassle for this surprise alone she wanted to share his anxiousness without a doubt but in all honesty... she was just beyond happy. The feeling was ineffable. What he's done was beyond her dream and she couldn't expect anything more perfect than their little happy corner in this beach. All she wanted now was to stand by his side, say their vows and their 'I do'.
In case your answer is yes…..
I hope you like my tux, we were not able to match each other, but I’m convinced we fit together (even if it clashes)
I hereby give you this ring as a token of my eternal love.
With view of the sunset… our wedding dinner!
HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY, MY RINNIE!
[the Suitcases]
Xin has just finished his cigarette when his phone vibrates delicately. He scrolls down to the message Jiyong has just sent him and makes his way upstairs to his friends’ apartment. He has managed to come back from his long absence, just for the special occasion that he has promised Ji to help. He is very happy to know that his best friend, Chaerin, has been taken into a good care. Xin nods and smiles to himself as he open Chaerin’s suitcase and prepares everything she might need for the trip, that includes the wedding dress that he helped her picked out couple months ago. A goddess-like dress, a perfect one for her.
Xin takes a quick look at his phone to find out Jiyong is on his way to the apartment. He scans the room to makes sure everything they need is packed, immediately takes all the suitcases out to the hallway where Ji would take them. The city is quiet that night, Xin can only hear his own steps down the stairs and makes his way out of the apartment where he parks his car. Another cigarette is lit and he settles himself to wait as he texts Jiyong back. It’s not long until a Lamborghini Aventador making its way into the parking lot.
Xin smiles, Ji been working really hard to prepare this, and he can’t think of anyone better than him to escort Chaerin. He wishes them the very best, a happy, healthy and exciting life like their adventurous selves.
