Arkon paused at the sight of the bag laying in his cave opening. It was unusually big and was large enough to hold a person. He glanced around for a moment before he approached and sniffed at the bag before he nudged it.

“Meat?”

“Yes, clearly I do around kidnapping annoying bird woman and tie them up before putting them in bags just to free them later! BRILLIANT DEDUCTION, YOU BIRD BRAINED LITTLE BRAT!”

“I said I’m not a bird…!” She repeats. “God, what’s wrong with you?? Can I GO NOW!!!” She hoists her sword up and puts it away again.

“All I’ve done is heard you squawking like a bird and you got the wings of one too. Guess what? If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, guess what I’ll call it!?”

Her face suddenly goes completely blank as she loses her patience. “Stop insulting my wings.” She got an odd, faraway look in her blue eyes that gave Arkon the feeling of deep loss, as if she’d seen true pain already.

Arkon snarls and begins swiping his claws at her, his eyes burning with anger. “Annoying little runt!”

She starts getting pushed back a bit, beginning to struggle against the swipes when she suddenly yells with enough force to knock him back a few feet. “ENOUGH!!! I. Was. Leaving. Like you wanted the whole time!! And no, I’m not a bird or pigeon or whatever, I’m a cel-es-tri-an.” She says it slowly as if talking to a child. “I don’t expect you to know what that is, since i’m the last one and they aren’t from this world anyway. Now are you DONE throwing a fit???”

“You insult me, talk down to me and accuse me of being a thief. I helped you! I could have left you in that bag, tossed you away and let the buzzards enjoy a free meal, but guess what, I didn’t. I could have freed you and kept you tied up, but I didn’t. Celestrian? Pfft. You’re no different than any human. You just as ungrateful, daft and hateful…”

“I’M NOT AN AVIAN. LIKE, LITERALLY AT ALL.” She picks up a rock, just big enough to fit in her hand and throws it at his head.

The Rock bounces off his head, but the action finally makes him lose it. “THAT’S IT!!!” He lets out a roar before he rushes out of the cave, right at her.

Once again, it was easy to tell he was coming from a mile away, and she was a seasoned enough battler that she could smoothly grab her sword and spin on her heel as she pulls it out. But, as she swings it down right as he approaches, she twists it a bit in her hands so only the flat side bonks him on the head.

“You’re a stupid head. I was leaving. Isn’t that what you were whining about the whole time?”

“You do realize that if I didn’t free you, you would have been stuck in that bag right? Gods, I should of just tossed you in the river and been done with it…”

“Yeah. SUCH a hero.” She growls under her breath, sheathing the sword behind her back. She turns and stomps towards the entrance.
