Okay, I have a life hack for you.
Last week, I got attacked by the most painful and persistent hiccups of my life at work. My co-worker heard me hiccuping and said, absently, “Got the hiccups?” and I said miserably, “Yeah.” And she said, “Prove it.”
And I glared at her, because why the fuck should I prove anything to her? And I waited for the next hiccup, which would prove that she was a dick and that I was, indeed, suffering from hiccups. And… that hiccup never came. And she smirked and said, “My daughter calls me whenever she has hiccups and when I ask her to prove it, she never can.”
And that was weird. But later that night, I got hiccups AGAIN, so I said to my boyfriend, “I HAVE HICCUPS.” and he said “Yeah, you do.” And I said, “No, ask me to prove it.” And he gave me a look like I was a crazy person, and I hiccuped again and insisted he ask me to prove it and he did and BAM. I couldn’t do it!
And a few days LATER, I got the hiccups WHILE DRIVING ALONE, and I said, out loud, “DUDE, I have the hiccups.” And then, in another voice, “PROVE IT.” And bam. Couldn’t do it.
The moral of the story? Apparently hiccups are little shits who refuse to perform on command.
There you go. Hiccup cure. I can’t promise it’ll work for everyone, but so far, it’s worked for me like six times.
You’re welcome.
My dad always did this. Weirdly, it worked
“I’ll give you a hundred bucks if you hiccup again” also works
A lifestyle. A MOOD
This why it take 9 years at the drive thru.

If you too are a stressed high school or college student with no idea what you want to do in the future, here is a fun way to maybe get an idea of what could be right for you!
A while ago I discovered this app that is basically multiple well-known personality tests combined with a new spin that help you discover more about yourself! It “classifies” you as three types of personas, and in my case, they match so well!! You can also compare yourself with friends and see how much more of an introvert you are (high-five to my fellow introverts) or see what traits you have in common! This also works with a whole company - so if you always wanted to know if Google would be the right place for you in terms of work-ethic and approach, here you go! They recently added a new feature allowing you to see how well you work together with a group of other people. So if you just got assigned a new group project (ugh) you could check and see with whom you have the most similar approach to stuff like that!
The app is completely free (thank god), so give it a try here and tell me if you like it!

This website literally GRADES YOUR ESSAYS. You can choose your grade level, if you’re using American or British english, what type of paper it is (essay, short story, biography…), and it even checks for plagiarism. THEN once it’s grading your essay, it shows you grammatical errors, suggestions for better sentence structure, and a lot of other things. Reblog to save a life.
Hi💕💕💕💕 I just started with my Bullet journal, any ideas of what spreads i can do? Other than the normal monthly and weekly logs
Ok I’m really sorry this was supposed to just be a simple list of some pages for a bullet journal and it turned into this
Bujo basics (see more bujo masterposts at the bottom):
what is a bullet journal? (video)
how to bullet journal (video)
official bullet journal website
a blog post about bullet journaling
Here’s some basic bujo advice that I can’t back up because I’ve never had one:
use pencil first if you’re trying our a new format (and just in general because you never know when you’ll make mistakes).
stick to a limited color palette (preferably lighter colors) if your worried about how it will look.
be realistic about how much you can do; if you’re not a good artist, don’t make the focus point of your spread a huge elaborate drawing.
don’t beat yourself up over mistakes you make. only you have to see your bujo so it’s really not the end of the world if you mess up a bit.
Notebooks:
Leuchtturm1917 (the official bullet journaling notebook)
Rhodia Webnotebook
Dotted Moleskine
Essentials Grid-Lined notebook
Baron Fig Confident notebook
a cute infographic breaking down 4 of these notebooks
Just a tip: there are 4 main kinds of notebooks - lined, dotted, gridded, and blank. I only linked dotted notebooks above, but those brands also made other notebooks so they shouldn’t be too hard to find.
lined notebooks are good for when your bujo is writing-heavy (so if it’s also functioning as a journal).
dotted notebooks are probably what you see most often because they’re so versatile. they’re great for both writing and more doodle heavy bujos (but if you have trouble writing in a straight line they probably aren’t for you).
gridded notebooks are great if your a perfectionist because they make it super easy to draw straight lines.
blank notebooks are what you want to use if your bujo will be very art focused.
Pens:
Staedler fineliners (colored pens)
Stabilo fineliners (more colored pens)
Muji gel pens (black)
Muji gel pens (colored)
Pilot G-2 0.5mm pens (my personal faves)
Pilot Juice pens (colored)
these are just some pens that are popular in the studyblr community, but you can literally use any pen (or pencil) that you want. any pens that you already have in you house are fine, so please don’t go out and buy any of these just for your bujo!
EXTRA: you can check my supplies tag and there should be some swatches like this
More supplies:
here are some stationary websites & brands!

Spreads:
you’ll generally have four types of spreads: daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly. people have a combination of the for (daily and monthly; weekly and monthly; weekly, monthly, and yearly).
EXTRA: some resolutions that you can track in your daily log
Page ideas (what the ask was really about):
bullet journaling masterpost (this is the most comprehensive)
a guide to bullet journaling (the pages section)
comprehensive bullet journal masterpost (pages section)
my masterpost of masterposts (bujo section)
what to do with notebooks (just adapt them for your bujo)
some cool bujos (any inspiration you might need)
my bullet journaling tag (more inspiration)
bullet journal basics masterpost (more pages and a few tips and tricks)
EXTRA: (a lot of) themes for your bujo
the above is where bullet journals get even more customizable. you can add whatever pages you want to your bujo, usually in front or behind your weekly spreads.
An extra section:
some specifics about what you can add to your bujo if you want it to look great
fonts:

Reblogging this version bc I love this YouTuber and he didn't deserve to have his commentary cut and his video cut and his YouTube channel not even linked in the original post.
“whos your main” is like “whats your sign” for gamers
reblog this with your sign and main in the tags
If your nude photos are posted online without your permission, Microsoft and Google want to know.
For years, most victims of revenge porn — people who have had their nude photos shared online without permission — basically couldn’t do anything about it.
According to one study, over 50% of all adults engage in sexting, and 70% admit to having received a nude photo online or over the phone.
And yet, despite the fact that we all (or at least more than half of us) do it, there’s still this weird, persistent, harmful notion that if your naked pictures get leaked or shared maliciously by an ex online, it’s your fault for taking them in the first place.
It’s completely backward, but sadly, the law seems to at least kind of agree.
As of September 2014, New Republic found, putting someone else’s illicit photos online without their consent was illegal in just 16 states, though laws have been proposed in more states. Not only is it typically impossible to prosecute the perpetrator, they note, it’s impossible to legally compel websites to take the images taken down most of the time.
But thankfully, Microsoft and Google — which operate two of the biggest search engines on the web — don’t think it’s your fault. And they’re finally saying “Enough is enough.”
Here’s how to report a non-consensual image posting on Bing.
And here’s how to do it on Google.
Boost!
Here’s another way to fight back from your friendly neighborhood law student! If you took these pictures yourself, you owe the copyrights to these pictures so in addition to taking down the pictures you can smack them with a lawsuit not only for intentional infliction of emotional distress BUT ALSO copyright infringement so he has to pay you anywhere from $750-$10,000 per photo posted, x5 damages if there’s willfulness/malice (which there always is). Bleed those creeps dry.
Can someone draw this with Andrew Ryan? The caption should say my city got no business looking like this
So I was taught a lesson in how to get rid of a migraine in 30 seconds and omfg listen my migraines don’t go away ever but I was shown what part of my body to touch and like???????????????
It’s witchcraft????????? Like I would be burned at the stake if I lived in ye olde days knowing that information?????
What the fuck??????
Spill it! Lol….Hooooowwwww?? Had migraines since age 9….😓😓😓
Its called the T4 push, but I literally can’t find the info online????? I guess I’m not searching good enough? These medical fuckers are holdin out on us lol.
It’s best to have someone do this for you while you stand up and relax your muscles as best you can, but if you’re alone, a tennis ball and a flat surface will probably work. Alternatively you can lie on the edge of a bed at the pressure point. (But no really do try to find someone to do it for you)
Find the area in your spine between either the first, second, third, or fourth vertebrae. It should be sore and uncomfortable to press down on, so look for the one that’s most painful, and press down with as much pressure as you can on that area for 30 seconds.
Realize that 80% of your pain has magically disappeared and keep the info secret if you live in a small puritan town, lest you be tried for witchcraft.
If you don’t have to worry about being burned or hanged, then share the info with your migraine suffering friends.
As someone who wrote a 10k word paper on pressure points for a high belt ranking test in her martial arts class, I can tell you that you just found a pressure point used in acupressure and acupuncture to relieve pain, particularly that in the head. :)
Hand to god we discovered this by accident when my husband was rubbing my neck and I nearly collapsed it felt so good
This post was sent by literal angels??? I’ve had a persistent low-level headache for nearly 24hrs and now it’s gone??? In 30 seconds? What gods did you sacrifice to for this information!?!?
@tumblunni
But umm, how does this actually work? How are you meant to count your vertebrae? is it just cos I ain’t skinny enough? Cos seriously I cant feel the exact divides in my spine just by running my fingers over it. Also do you mean the third one from the top or the bottom? I’ve seen this advice on my dashboard a few times and I feel dumb that I’m confused by it. Does anyone have a diagram?
This image I found labels all of the points of the spine for acupuncture, and I figure it’s the same for acupressure. According to this diagram, T4 is pretty much in the middle of between the shoulderblades
