A very dangerous semblance as using this will use up any remaining aura if uncontrolled. This semblance will allow her aura to enhance her body far beyond what most can handle. Often a last resort, she becomes stronger, faster, and more perceptive than others at the cost of her aura being completely used. Even with a keen perception during her frenzy she will become extremely aggressive as the strain on her muscles is quite painful and hard to control a more, feral need to release this pain and aggression.
If trained well enough, small bursts of her semblance can be used for short, quick, boost in strength and speed.
Carmilla was born into a strange family, a community. Carmilla was born into a cult. A cult that worshiped who they called The Queen.
Unknown to them this Queen was Salem.
Information passed down many generations and followers of a ruler that was grimm like. A woman who could not die and who destroyed anyone in her path. The show of power was something of some fantasy but records didn’t lie to them and in this new era of technology and dust was something far beyond they thought the people needed. Loyalty to the queen was something they took their most pride in.
Often the children who were born dark skinned were favored and those born with the rare trait of dark skin and white hair were seen as special, a gift from their Queen and a demigod per say.
Along with being born into the cult, a coming of age ceremony was always held at around the age of 10 where those who were deemed as such were marked with Grimm Markings. These are permanent tattoos engraved into the skin that last the rest of their lives. These markings are to make the people more like Grimm, which they believe are servants of The Queen and trying to rid humanity of those that weren’t needed or must die for the greater good.
Carmilla though, ended up falling in love with a woman when they turned roughly 17. Though during a raid on their small town, the lover of her life was taken and offered as a sacrifice to the grimm. Due to the cult’s programming no one had issue with this as it was often done when Grimm visited their town. Seeing the love of her life being eaten alive tore her apart. It was due to this and various other things she saw as inhumane that Carmilla chose to leave.
The elders of her cult were not too happy at first, but soon knew she would come back, and with her traveling she could spread the word of their cult and ideas. Agreeing to let her leave, she was also allowed to rewrite/rerecord information about the world. How to survive in the wilderness, nearly every type of old grimm, how to avoid them, fight them or anything else she may have to do to survive being alone.
Setting out into the world Carmilla wishes to simply learn, to experience things she never had and maybe, perhaps help others with her information.
- The skull on her staff works as a torch as well, the eyes of the skull having fire dust crystals in them
- The skull is the human remains of her past love
- Carmilla is unafraid of death or watching it
- Carmilla doubts the existence of Salem, but a nagging in her head from the information on her tells her otherwise.
