───────── ❝C’mon Yucchi! Let’s go elsewhere, you can always go to the craft store later.❞ Haruhi whined trying to convince his twin to do something else. ❝The store isn’t going to go anywhere if you don’t go today. Plus, it’s too hot and we should get some ice cream to cool off!❞ Haruhi continued even though he been bugging about it since they left the dorm.
Yuzuki couldn’t help but sigh. It amazed him how persistent Haruhi could whine about something for so long. ❝Haruhi, can you stop?❞ he asked only for Haruhi to pout. ❝We can get ice cream we go to the arts and craft store.❞ there was a dramatic sigh from the blond that followed his sentence.
Haruhi was about to open his mouth to say something against it when out of the corner of his eyes he caught sight of the outdoor news screen. ❝Yucchi look! They’re replaying it again!❞ the blond laughed. He thought it was pretty cool that B-Project had decided to make such an awesome entrance. ❝Gocchi did look pretty cool h- Hey! Hey!❞ Haruhi repeatedly tapped Yuzuki’s shoulder to his attention as they walked by someone in the busy square. ❝Doesn’t she look familiar?❞
Another sigh as Yuzuki looked in the direction Haruhi was pointing in. ❝She does look a l-❞
❝Hinachi! Hinachi!❞ Haruhi waved energetically to get her attention then cupped his hands around his mouth to maximize the volume of his voice. ❝HINACHI!!!❞
❝Haruhi!❞ Yuzuki hissed at him. At times he wondered how the two them are twins.
Steps already had her pacing in the direction of a more crowded street. Reasons for the crowd weren’t exactly defined, yet usually it meant there was a new release of some sort, or perhaps the occasional market that appeared on certain days. The likes interested her sometimes, depending on what form they took. Approaching just that little bit closer, head craned in attempts to see through the crowds with her short stature. Not much luck, and even then there came a call that stole her attention.
It was easy to make the assumption it was a classmate catching sight of her and beckoning her over. Natural smile she displayed to them on every other day quickly fixated upon her face as she turned on her heel, arm only reaching half upward in what would of been a wave. Then a long pause.
Gaze did settle on the one calling her name, expression blanking yet eyes growing wide. Another thing to catch her attention was the pendant hanging around the youth’s neck. While nothing overly amazing, what struck a chord with her was just how old it was. Why so would that matter?
It had been her clumsy hands that had made that when she’d been much younger.
Though she gazed at the two from where she was halfway down the street, she was absolutely positive she had the right people. There was no way she’d mistake such. But even then, the crystal clear droplets growing in the corners of her eyes refused to stop, soon enough falling down her cheeks in a mixture of emotions.
