people lovers as types of rain:
torrential downpours: the one that's everywhere and all at once. gives the kind of love that consumes you. steady and holds nothing back. even in fights, most especially in fights. but still can soothe you with their presence, calms you even. when they're near, you go blind to everything but them, you end up washed and soaking and wondering, always wondering. when they're gone, you sometimes wish for them.
drizzles: soft hearts and softer smiles. with their presence comes laughter and moments you want to remember forever. you don't need to shield yourself from them. they don't feel like another person. and sometimes, they don't feel like anyone at all. but they won't ever hurt you so sometimes, you end up hurting them. too quiet, too good to be true that you start doubting yourself as to which part was real? was any of it?
summer rains: you didn't know you've been waiting until they came and they're all you can think about. still a trace of warmth in their cool exterior and will never keep you hanging. everything was vivid with them. and you savor everything when they're here but you've also accepted it wouldn't last long. you were bound to hold the umbrella up when it gets too humid with them. you will feel like you were a little bit suffocated.
thunderstorms: are hard to fall in love with and if possible, should be avoided. easier said than done, of course. the warning signs are everywhere but somehow, you keep refusing to see them. after the flash and the clap, you'll find yourself standing in the middle, drenched and falling faster than the rain you're standing under. a whirlwind of emotions; mesmerizing and chaotic; you keep remembering everything.
