ima explain how he came to be ect in a nutshell
So, polybius decided to come to life because being a static arcade machine is boring and makes him regret existing to only withness... so he came to be more alive and moving by copying 8-bit's model for his physical form (yes he's in starrpark, he ended up there in the first place because he can travel realms and just settled at starrpark), unable to return to looking like a standard arcade machine unless he's asleep in his normal form.
He hates being recognized due to theory hunters, the FBI and many authority forces already hunting him for MANY YEARS, so he likes to switch to a more human form! He gets away for looking like a scorpion in his human form by saying "it's just a cosplay" and pretending his tail is a prop when asked for proof. He still has all his abilities from when he was an unmoving arcade machine, aside that he can also travel realms and end up in any game he so wishes.
He's pretty cocky and sarcastic, while also having a pretty soft side but still prone to getting mad easly. He's not very atlkative around strangers, but is a yapper towards his very VERY few friends, and will yap if it's to insult someone he dislikes/hates. He's also in a polycule (hehe because polybius and polycule start with poly) with 8-bit and virus 8-bit, tho the relationship is pretty toxic, he likes it that way (freak...). He uses He/they/it as his gender can alter but he wishes to remain rather masculine for his own reasons and he's pan (wow like me so relatable)
He needs souls, minds and bodies to survive, devouring them usually by making people's minds hazy and unable to think straight, making them lured to Polybius when he pretends to have painkillers, before killing them out of sight. His abilities coast energy, so he usually attacks already weak people when he's too lazy/tired to go for better. Otherwise he likes milkshakes and sour candies. It's nearly impossible to trace back his crimes, as he has no DNA at all, and his victims turns into vague memories to the minds of people the victims knew, making it feel more like the victim was just someone they saw in a dream. Besides, since he's a starrpark, his victims always somehow respawn with a brand new mind, soul and body for him to devour, without them remembering about getting killed!!
His scorpion form is how he gets around faster and goes thru difficult terrains (like the sea, the inside of volcanos or even in space), often switching to it to change realms, give a ride or rarely when he wishes to kill many at once (tho it makes him be seen more easly, and he has to pretend to be mindless which he hates). His dart is full of a fine cocktail of neurotoxins, cyanide and arsenic which he can inject either one venom at a time or all at the same time. His fangs have the same venom, but less in doses. He's also prone to be more playful when in that form, rolling on his back to recieve rubs on his rather sensitive underside (only by his partners tho).
