I love how Howard and Angelique have such poetic meanings to their names:

Like Howard's name has a literal meaning of "Brave Heart" or "High Guardian," but it can also be interpreted as "Guardian of the Heart" and "Mind Protector."

Angelique's name literally means "Angelic" and can also mean "Messenger of God."

uhh hey so im gonna maintag this because it feels particularly relavent to this fandom but for any tiodm fans who might be new to tumblr: please for the love of god set up a blog theme/profile picture. when most seasoned tumblr users see a blog with no profile picture and no blog theme/title/header, we assume theyre bots and block them. i try to scroll a little through blogs like that who like my stuff so that i can see if the way they post feels like... human?, but most people just block blindly when they see unfinished blogs like that since tumblr used to(and still does tbh) have really bad bot problems

Howard is such a funny character for going “not only are you leaving me, you’re taking my dream job too??? Fuck you” to Phillip and then proceeds to write letters every week, not stopping until he hears that Phillip might be endanger and devises a rescue plan where a part is to gloat how he needed to be saved, then faces The Horrors while doing whimsical rhymes the entire time

Truly one of the characters ever, I’m putting him the mental microwave to spin him around

Angelique’s story always rips my heart in two because not only did she lose someone who was her hero and mother figure, she was accused of her death due to a lab accident that wasn’t her fault and now all she has left of Samantha are tainted memories and her neglected pet

I made some sketches of Howard, and I wanted to express some headcanons for him!

While I do think he is a “anxious mess” as I say, he is a very logical person. He doesn’t think emotionally, and he keeps his heart on his sleeve. He kinda bottles his emotions up, and then they explode when they get too overwhelming, often in anger. I also think that he is very prideful, the kind of person to stick their nose in the air. And Phillip, in my eyes, is sort of the opposite. He leads with his heart, and doesn’t explode as much, because he ALLOWS emotion. But it leads him to make bad decisions. Howard comes off as cold and calculating, and Phillip runs off as overly emotional and oblivious. Both are smart in their own right, but both are dangerous in their way of thinking. Lemme know what yall think!
