These are my personal MCs for Twin Coves! 

Having characters I can picture when writing that represent the different directions the MC can take has been super helpful for me. Obviously, you’re not playing these exact characters–you can imagine whoever you want–but they allow me to make sure I am taking different personalities, genders, heights, etc into consideration.

Also, these are examples of what MC portraits will look like for the giveaway I’d like to do, or for a reward on the eventual Kickstarter! 

And yes, the warm or cool tones have a meaning ;)

like, i can literally not go through life not thinking about race because people will ALWAYS perceive me as my race first and foremost. it impacts everything i do, every decision i make, every instance and person i interact with. every single thing i experience is colored (hah) through the lens of what race/ethnicity people perceive me as, and the same goes for everyone else.

if you say you’re not impacted by it, you just admit that you benefit from this system because it has never affected you negatively and therefore your unmarked status of being seen as “normative” makes you ignorant to the very real systemic and institutional role racism plays in everyday interactions.
