Hey, I'm Natalie but feel free to call me by whatever nickname you come up with I'm not picky. I started this tumblr as a place for me to display my crippling geekery and it's pretty much stayed that way. I post a wide variety of things the volume and type will change depending on what shows are airing and what I have decided I want to obsess over next. Mostly you're going to get: Doctor Who, Supernatural, Kingdom Hearts, Disney, Sherlock Holmes, and recently Persona 4. I'm really starting to get back into anime so expect a higher then usual concentration of animated characters on my blog. Sci-fi concentration will resume when the shows resume and be sporadic until then. I swear I'm more interesting than this description makes me sound. This picture was taken from my porch. See that beautiful forest? Well there is a proposed golf course planning to be built on 247 acres of this forest. Do you know how many trees that is? Animals? Not to mention 32 of those acres are part of our state park. They are clearing a minimum of 50% of this forest. Minimum. And the man who has proposed this golf course is very rich and influential, and as citizens in the neighborhood there isn’t much we can do. But what we can do is sign this petition. You only have to but your name and email, the rest is optional (but appreciated). 

The people in this neighborhood chose this area for the peace and quiet. We are in walking distance of Lake Michigan and have this gorgeous wooded area around us. Now there is going to be a golf hole 50 ft. from my house. Roads going in and out. Golf carts and people wandering around. Tourists. 

This website has all the information, pictures, maps, ect. on this golf course. 

Please, please, please help us out. I was born and raised here, and I can’t bear to see this all being cut down. If you’re a nature lover, golf hater, or just want to do something meaningful to the people who live here, please sign the petition.
