Just one of the things that I miss the most so much! FILM! The last time I took analog photos was October of last year and are not even processed yet! :( I still have remaining shots left on my Canonet and Pentax. I haven't even used and practiced with my Pentax that much because it was given to me October and 1 month later, Haiyan happened so... Anyway, I won't stop using film so there's still hope! I just badly need a really good adventure. Yes.

P.S. My sister owns the Nikkormat. The Ilford Sportsman is also hers. Not hers-hers. But yeah, it's hers.

Hi! I know I've been out of Tumblr for a long time now. I never thought I could live without it for 7 months! 7 months!! It's been crazy and I missed blogging like hell, I swear. For the past half a year, I think I lost a bit of my interest in Photography (like can any of you even believe it? coz i can't) and sharing my work which I usually do in the past. That's why I have a blog, right? I also haven't had much interesting adventures in life recently so I just thought I have nothing to blog anyway. There were a few, though, but it doesn't make me blog about it even though it's actually something great. I just didn't have feeeeels on anything that involves pictures, post processing, writing, and anything about being creative! I've gone to places without my camera and it wasn't even a big deal! Until later on, I realized that I miss myself. I've been off and I didn't like it. It was like there's a big part of me that's missing and then I got sad and I hated myself, honestly. I just couldn't live with it in peace.

My mind says this is not my year. Sure, I got a boyfriend and a job! Haha! And I thought, "Finally, the universe is being so good to me!". But sometimes, it just doesn't feel right. You know that feeling when you are deprived of your own hobbies and passion that it feels like everything going on is so wrong? There were two things I wanted. I wanted this year to end already or I wanted it to start all over again. I can't have either of these. But I don't wanna be sad about life anymore. That's not me! And this year has to be my year! I still have 5 months to go to prove me wrong.

The photo above actually inspired me to bring back my sassy self, and pull myself together! And I mean it already! Haha. I am kinda doing it already in the most conventional way. Instagram. Lolyeah. I don't always post, though. I also mean to get back to blogging and create pictures and post as frequent as I could. There's actually a lot I have to share to you guys! I also would like to thank my followers who didn't leave just because I was on hiatus. I have also noticed that I gained quite a number of followers the past few months despite the inactivity and there are still people who visit my blog. So thank you, guys! <3

Just a quick update:

1. My hair is back to straight.

2. I now have a lover who I love as much. <3

3. I'm out of Tacloban since April.

4. I have a job at Bigfoot.

5. I still haven't gained weight. :(

6. I have an Instagram account now. LOL (As mentioned above.)

7. I've also decided to read the Game Of Thrones series as well. Currently on the second book. 

8. Life at the moment is work, sleep, eat, and repeat.

9. I'm actually at work right now and getting off in less than an hour.

January: I don't know how having my hair permed could be a highlight of the month. Maybe it was my way of saying "new year new me"? Haha. Anyway, no regrets. I loved my hair since then!

February: Day use at Be Resorts with Cebu friends and sassy sister!

March: It's all about well-spent rest days! 'Cause I had a job back then. Lol

April: Vacation at home with my family especially with my sister, brother-in-law, nephews and niece who came home from UK <3

July: Oh wow. Well, that was one hell of a two-week Cebu - Bohol - Palawan trip right there! Great times with family <3

2013 has been a pretty good year. Half of it, I was rich 'cause I had a job. The other half was the definition of a bum life filled with travels, unconventional parties and shit with friends, morning walks, and the comfort of my home. Until November came so... fuck that, ok. But then, there's a rainbow always after the rain, right? Ha! <3

HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE! For 2014, I wish Tacloban and other typhoon-hit areas to rise again. I just want my little laid-back hometown back. And well, good luck with my career path also. Cheers!

Reasons why I'm not ready for 2014:

I still haven’t had my film rolls from October developed.

I don’t have a 2014 planner. I want a 2014 planner.

I only have 4 entries for December on my blog. This is the 4th one. But, maybe, there will be a 5th one.

I haven’t made video edits yet for my July travel with family, July party with friends, and my October hippie birthday party.

November and December went by so fast and I just couldn’t accept that.

My slippers gave up on me right after Christmas.

Is it really Christmas Eve already?

I've been staring at this draft post for some good minutes now (like how I usually start every blog post) and I hate to say that I don't know what to feel and what to express on this one. Hmmm. Let's see. This year's Christmas season has been the shortest and the saddest, so far. Truth hurts but it hasn't been the most wonderful time of the year like how it's supposed to be. But you know what guys sdfghjkhgfa omggg I'm happysdfgfdakl because I'm dating someone right now and we're already official. Like, for real. This year is my year after all. *winkwink* Well, that's another story and I'll write a different post about that. Haha! Anyway, this is the second time that I'm not spending Christmas at home. We are now back in my sister's house here in Calbayog City to celebrate Christmas with the family, for the first time. :) We'll be giving gifts to my nephews later and I'll be spoiling myself with food for the next few days, that's fo shizzle! At least there's something to look forward to. Though, this is a Christmas I won't ever forget.

This was us when we arrived at Mactan Airbase after a week of darkness in Tacloban City. My sister (right) was the one who met us up at the airbase. I'd like to blog about my experience but after I heard what my other friends went through (who were actually victims of the storm surge, who lost their houses and stuff), I'd rather just shut up and not complain about things because I am still so damn lucky.

Anyway, I am happy with the progress that Tacloban is making right now. And I'm glad to say that I'm going home to my beloved hometown to fix and clean our house. I'll arrive there tomorrow morning. I'll stay there just for a while, though, but I wish I could help others too.

Yolanda Survivor Here

Hello guys. Yolanda survivor here. I am so thankful that me and my sister survived the super typhoon that hit my hometown, Tacloban. It is indeed very traumatic and devastating. I am terribly sad about everything that happened and I won't ever forget it. :( We already moved out of Tacloban just yesterday after a week of struggle and I'm glad that we are now in Cebu City. Thank God we're safe! Our house is in V&G Subdivision so our place wasn't that affected by the storm surge though the houses are partly damaged and got flooded inside including ours. I still consider myself lucky. Thank you Lord for this second life. I am happy I can eat proper food now but at the same time I feel sorry for the people back home who are still hungry and homeless. My sympathy to those who lost their loved ones and I pray eternal rest to those who haven't survived. :( 

Also, my heartfelt thanks for all the help that we are getting from all over the world. I am so touched. God bless you all.

Sisters Love

Last week, my siblings and I had the chance to be reunited once again. Us living outside Samar decided to visit my other sister and her family who lives in Calbayog City instead of them visiting us. We thought it's too much hassle for them especially when travelling with 2 kids and with my sister's vision disability so we did the other way around and went there instead. Best things in life are free, indeed. The 5-day vacation spent with my family was so simple yet so memorable. Our nephews had a fun time as well and they were happy with all the goodies they received. We cooked food and desserts, went to the beach, went to the park, ate at Jollibee, did karaoke concert, played with nephews, and the simple joy of sisterlove bonding! We all had a happy time and I hope the next time's gonna be sooner. I love you sisters! <3
