As someone who knows very little about the actual story of the Odyssey, I absolutely enjoy the film. I'm not sure how accurate it is from the actual original book or text but I thought it was a spectacular film.

The cast was wonderful, the cinematography and the last the final act was just out of this world like it's looking like a heavy movie of the year / best picture at the Oscars contender because this was just sickening!

And even mythical creatures / gods portrayed in the film felt so real and grounded and did not feel out of place. It wasn't too fantasy.
