I couldn’t find if there was a response to this already but if it already has been answered, please feel free to ignore! Or if this question is too spicy - definitely not my intention to make you uncomfortable if this question does.
What position(s) does/do the ROs prefer when they are getting intimate with their partner?
J is lowkey giving vanilla missionary (nothing wrong with that of course!) whereas N is giving, “I know positions that don’t even exist in the Kama Sutra” vibes 🤣
I’m just absolutely deceased by the responses in regards to N being this calm collected figure on the outside, but being a passionate lover when it comes to the bedroom.
As an additional question, does the Kama Sutra historically exist in this universe/time period in which you’re building your story around?
Not too spicy!! I just want to make sure that I’m answering this properly tbh. Rather than positions in particular (because there’s just so many, y’know!), I’m going to try and go for like…general preferences for positions? Let me know if this doesn’t make sense!
S: Rather than a preference for any kind of position, they prefer it when they can hide their own face. Can’t come across as too vulnerable now, can they? Otherwise, anything quick and easy that gets the job done is fine for S, but if they really get into the mood then it’s still a preference for being able to hide their own face but still able to whisper dirty sweet nothings into their partner’s ear — think like either embracing from behind or being able to hide their face in the crook of their partner’s neck.
D: Honestly? Prefers their partner on top. They want to be ridden (good lord I hope that’s the right participle being used here), for sure — there’s something super intoxicating about seeing their partner putting in the effort. If their partner ever tires, D will be more than happy to help, whether that means providing a steady grip or their own, uh, thrust.
N: You know, if it’s someone they truly love… does going down on their lover even count as a position? Yes, it’s foreplay, but if N had their way then that would be appetiser and dessert both — and they want them both first. Big, big fan of that whole denial/overstimulation tandem, so they really could be at it for a while, too.
J: Aww, well, yeah as far as poses and preferences go they’re pretty vanilla, but to be honest they’re also vastly inexperienced when it comes to sex and lovemaking (and especially compared to the other ROs). Most previous experiences were more rote rather than experimental, but with the realisation that they like to be taken care of and paid attention to when it comes to sex. Combined with their preference for submission and pillow princess tendencies, I’d safely say that a trusted lover in a safe space can bend J over any sturdy piece of furniture for a good time.
As for the canonical existence of the Kama Sutra, it exists — but is taken in its entirety, as a fundamental self-help kind of book for
living a life of fulfilled emotional needs & desires
how to cultivate and maintain one’s love life (which includes sexual activities)
how to be a good partner for one’s lover(s) in relation to the above categories.
