Column: By the way, it’s a play on the words ‘MEAT’ and ‘MEET’, and means ‘a day to go and meet meat’.

The word for 2 in Japanese is ‘ni’ (二) and the word for 9 is ‘ku’ (九) so together as 2/9 they make ‘niku’, the word for meat (肉). The sentence about going to meet meat is more wordplay in both Japanese and English, as it is written as “niku ni ai ni iku hi”, with ni iku (に行く), ‘to go’, being similar to niku as well.

The other answers are puns too. 11/29 is 1 1 2 9, i i ni ku, ‘good meat’ (いい肉) and 3/10 is mii to, ‘meat’ in English (ミート).

So basically,

Shop Reopening 6/12!

As of today the last of the Timeskip zine preorders have been sent out so my etsy shop HummingflyStore will be reopening with extra zines as well as additional goodies a week from today on Saturday 6/12! :D

The shop will be selling the extra copies of the Timeskip zine, and will also carry the Full Stock of 14 Fullmetal Alchemist phone charms, including the brand new Father/Hohenheim charm!

In addition to those returning items, there will be several new products for sale, including the zine stretch goal sakura sticker sheet as well as some limited edition zine-exclusive goods that I designed, including the Very limited edition barry the chopper tote bag! 

Also a while back I ran some photo prints of various art pieces I’ve made over the years to see how I liked em which means I have a bit of extras left over - because of this the first 20 orders will come with a FREE random 4x6 photographic art print! There will also be an option to purchase 3 random art prints in the store~ :V

Finally, since I never got a chance to do a proper 11k follower giveaway lets go ahead and do that now!

ALRIGHT WE’RE FINALLY DOING THIS

Preorders are now open for my Team Greed Shitpost Anthology: Timeskip!

This zine was 3 years in the making and contains over 50 pages of every team greed doodle comic that I’ve posted online, as well as 5 pages of new and exclusive bonus content!

Preorders will be open for 2 weeks until April 11th, and as an extra incentive preordered zines are 10% off with the code PREORDER! 

(Alsoooo I might have some bonus goodies planned if we hit some milestones I made, so keep an eye out for updates as we go! :V)

Well I was prepping my evening reblog and lo and behold ya’ll already hit the first milestone I had set at 30 zines ordered! 

Thus reveals the first bonus goodie….a postcard! Ya’ll hit this so fast the design isn’t finalized just yet but here’s a sneak peak at the postcard I’ll include with each zine:

Thank you all so much for your support, and there’s still more milestones to unlock! Next idea I have planned is at 50 zines, so let’s shoot for that! ;)

Not even 24 hours later and the second milestone has been reached! 

With that we have unlocked the second bonus goodie…a signed bookplate!

This little sticker will be included with each zine along with my signature, so you can slap it in the zine or do with it as you please!

The next goodie I have planned will unlock at 75 zines, so keep an eye out till then! :D

since ya’ll have continued to plug away at my silly little passion project we’ve managed to shoot by 75 zines in under a week! (we actually passed this yesterday, but since it was april fools i thought it’d be smarter to hold off on any announcements haha)

With that said here is the next unlocked goodie, a vinyl sticker!

This 3″ sticker will be included along with the other goodies with every preordered zine!

As of now this was the last physical add-on i had planned to ship with each zine, buuuut I still do have some additional plans i’m shootin for, the next of which will be revealed at 100 zine sales! (since this post is getting long if and when we hit that I’ll probably be starting a new post on my blog haha)
