I saw you through some of the indie animation tags and I had some questions about your show. I aso saw you were a fan of TADC so I definitely wanted to ask
One, I wanted to know about the main cast and if you had a team for the pilot episode for Kemono :] Two, I was wondering if you had any artwork, animations or concepts about Kemono?? Or maybe some fun facts in general And three, if you have any voice actors or need any voices for the characters or if you would ever reach out to gooseworx and pitch your show and concepts to them besides japan ??
If you need a voice id love to lend!!!
⚠️WARNING⚠️ longest ask ive made as it intrested me the most but trust me its worth it! You'll see why! Viv Critics welcome too ^^
Oh, a TADC fan? this came to me as a surprise lol I didn't think many people would see or be interested in my work but im glad you asked. It warms my heart ngl, thank you sm ^^
To analyze and answer your first question the main MAIN cast of girls ofc are within the following: Jueneau, Juke, Kuma, and Arashi!
For some of the other girls but not all:
There's Martyna, (Juke's mum), Miku who owns a huge ass battle arena which is extremely important to the series majority as there will be a lot of action packed thrill, violence, fanservice and the whole nine yards. An arena so big, it had to be built on the ocean. Mini Kovach who you already KNOW whos name I based that on, based on the based Shoeonhead and the goth kids from south park, The main Teacher of the girls class named Karmen who's name I purposefully based on a childhood best friends name where I unfortunately lost connection with and still miss. Her name was spelled with a K, but series karmen is intentional as (if the series were to be as big as id want it to be) she can possibly find me... in the hopes we reconnect. Karmen: Hi, I'm Mrs. Karmen, "Karmen with a "K" that is! " (is what my former best friend would say) there are others but I wont spoil it all ;)
The main set of boys are Sammy, His best friend who needs a rename, Fender, and Osher whos Juke's adopted brother.
As of now, I dont have a team and I especially cant afford to pay anyone. For now, id have to have a team work for me (Just for fun) or free and gain self taught experience as I did over the years without the clutch of a studio
I work at Walmart and I make 15 an hour as a night shifter but its not enough. If my show took off exactly the way I wanted and made me millions of dollars and got millions or hell, hundreds of millions of views (as The Amazing Digital Circus did) id pay everyone very high per hour or per second (for the animators), quit Walmart, and take off from there, being the entrepreneur I always wanted to be. id hire story board artists, critiquers to help guide me as constructive criticism is needed to elevate my studio and bring me success. Artists and background artists, SFX artists, a few creative geniuses who are writers unless (I take over that role), voice actors or imitators, I'd hire the people that can make music from the heart, or the people I trust from YouTube that are extremely talented. Basically the whole shebang!
There's a lot I can do, I could do so much good and finally be happy the way I want. my home would be my temporary studio however, I am only one person working on it all and had been since 2022. A project ill NEVER give up on. I have a feeling that KEMO-NO ACADEMIA will be my most successful series and based on the writing behind the scenes and the positive reception ive recived in real life by indie animation fans or random people and friends who I let review scripts and lines and such as well as some concept art, there will litterally never be a show quite like KEMO-NO.
Its a show thats very different from the rest since there's a lot of concepts and topics in it unlike the other shows and for an adult show series, as adults shows often do t take themselves seriously or dont wanna discuss what I want. I could get away with more for its rating and I planned to have the show go on for 10 seasons if successful or however long necessary based on the perfect amount of episodes written. Each season with each story carries its own set of interesting chapters. There will Always be at least one character you'll latch onto for a favorite.
So far i've written them all and what im doing behind the scenes alone is getting ready for japan, to pitch it, NOT start production!
Through the positive reception ive received they said I had a great fighting chance in the indie animation industry... maybe even the top based on the writing alone as one person who understands complex concepts and deeper writing but I wont know until it happens. Few have compared me to my surprise, Vivziepop. At first I was like "oh no not this" and they gave me a different answer than the one I thought id receive.
That as once fans of her they see one writer (me) who understands how to write complex characters, stories, that have deeper interactions and character development and drastic levels of experience and understanding of the world around me. Who understands color theory, who understands what people want and crave, how I dont like to use fan fiction or allow people to tell me what I should write. How Vivziepop just doesn't know what the Fuck shes doing.
A literal STOLITZ FAN who at walmart went to electronics to purchase the first season of Hazbin Hotel, had some conversations with me, we sat down in the break room and they told me they love the shows and the characters and even flipping stolas but knew the writing and Vivziepop wasn't great. They knew she couldn't write and is repetitive. That she didn't know what she was doing and that The Hazbin Hotel he once knew wasn't the same as it was meant to be originally.
For me, I listen to those with differing voices or silently watch others, observing behind the scenes as that give me different perspectives on life and everything going on in the world, or in my own defense, because ive been so domestically abused for 23 years as someone who went through unfortunate events from both my biological parents just... get it, I get the people around me, I get what's happening, I get what's happening in fiction or non fiction with each character interactions, in books or real life on a deeper level or as that abuse victim that unlike Vivziepop, doesn't understand how to write and constantly relies on fanfictions and what the fans say and tell her to write, think or say vs me being independent and writing through strong research, connections or observations within my own stunted and messed up head. I talk a lot its the severe adhd....
but damn... a stolitz fan and some former fans, man! It was beautiful talking to them. They're not all bad and it gave me a different perspective
Two: I do have artwork of the characters and LOTS of concepts and very spoiler concepts even from the past as a teen, however due to how they look and how attractive all of the characters are in general including the men (that are not Vivziepop twinks, LMAO) they're quite hard to draw. I had to constantly tweak and reconstruct each character and their anatomy to fit exactly what their description said based on what I wanted or what I know or would want, "what is going to sell", the way I wanted them to look, their stories or convey their personalities as my art style kept evolving.
Today I started on Juke and I started with a concept I drew traditionally on paper a while back ago from scratch. I decided to start with her naturally curly hair in Ibis PaintX and when drawing over her it was... really hard to do because I kept... Crushing over Juke and how pretty she was, Golly ^//^
As for showing off my artwork, im very secretive and wished I had at least a small dedicated fanbase online that pushed me into drawing more often so I become more confident. Ive been drawing for more than 20 years and wish I wasn't so skeptical and shy since its the internet but if I dont get myself out there then I never will...
Ill tell you a little about the girls:
Jueneau (27 Yrs): The water element, as actual super powers and "birth elements" exsist in this universe, hence the battle arena! Jueneau has a charismatic, optimistically, enthusiastic outlook on life as a workaholic in her last year of college as a senior or "Senpai" studying casework under the school (not the government) helping folks with their disabilities, mental struggles, addictions and overcoming them beyond what a show can push in terms of complex writing as well as her own struggles and what she wants in life as an adult nearing 30. She can come off across as sometimes overly sympathetic or empathetic and often puts others first before her. She can be intimidating with an occasionally no nonsense attitude since she served in the military but often keeps her cool especially under high amounts of pressure as trained to do so. She likes to keep her image professional and is Sexy and confident in her overall exterior. As a person, Jueneau's incredibly intelligent for her age and very sharp minded as she values true education. She is calm for the most part and is quite humourous quickly coming up with witty comebacks thanks to Juke, here and there to make fun of dumbasses, losers or adult life in general so that life feels less like shit. As a former Marine, she was released due to her serious injuries. All her scars are tattooed over complete with burn scars making her design more badass as a sexy goth girl. A reminder of her heroism and one whos not afraid of showing her battle scars. She almost lost her life in battle and lost both her left arm and leg, shes Deaf in her left ear, thats flopped from damage and needs an aid for her right. Her long curly voluminous hair often covers her left eye which if shown had noticeably been injured and is her blind spot where her burn scar traveled upwards. Her left arm has a story on why she lost it (all spoiler territory) and as a vet or wounded warrior had received the purple heart and red poppy for her fierce service. After healing, she traveled to the US to a few beautiful states before settling in Del Norte California where the story takes place to start college far away from her home. She's the one who carries the show as almost if not every character in the series somehow connects back to her as shes the most developed. Think of shows like (Bluey, King of the Hill, and South Park) some Inspirations that carry the show. Despite her multi party lean, she values her Independence politically and is a bit conservative HOWEVER, is kind and open minded to others and their opinions to keep a balance towards life and is someone who values social cohesion. In other words shes very likable and even democrats would like her. I made sure of this when allowing people to review her personality.
Juke (25 Yrs): The Earth Element and the stoner of the group. Juke is a snarky, sarcastic, laid back, down to earth, mellow and adventurous individual who's mischievous and loves cracking witty jokes and breaking the fourth wall. She's quick to come up with many fun Comebacks. Part of her personality is based on Dale Gribble from King of the Hill, Wendy Corduroy from gravity falls and Jax from The Amazing Digital Circus as well as other fun characters (in anime), but unlike Jax shes not a jackass, as shes the calmest of the group and the most chill, even when not stoned. Her entire name is based on the most famous musicians of all time and the most sought out Jukebox of all time the Wurlitzer 1015 and shes even loosely based on them too. She's Jueneau's Best, best friend with a complicatedor complex family life with mum, her lil brother and her father whom provides for Juke's home and college from his home country, Japan due to a huge promotion, hoping to retire early and be a real family again. She loves being rebellious with Jueneau's clique members and In the series, despite her overall personality she's the biggest empath of the show. If in the wrong, Juke learns to take responsibility for the bigger things she does when she gets herself in trouble even if it was something little she did, overcoming being selfish at times. She's protective of her adoptive little brother, Osher, and will stand up for him regardless if it's towards a friend or stranger, and always loves to pull pranks on him, or play fight as siblings. She loves her brother so much that she practically would give the world to him especially due to his broken childhood. As a "Comic Relief" of the clique and Empathetic person will have her softer more serious moments as the series in development progresses. Juke is very tomboyish however, values True femininity and isn't afraid to show it. She Loves Horror films/shows and gets the thrill of scaring the shit out of herself which is why she loves them so much, LOVES South Park, Loves plaid especially if it's green and anything green. Lastly, Juke can come off a bit as a jerk sometimes or a bit unrealistic similar to that of Dale Gribble from King of the Hill.
Arashi ( 20 Yrs): The air element, and the most human looking of the cast later revealed. Arashi is a somewhat Jolly, Passionate, Shy, Tomboyish, and quiet especially in class. Inverse lies a strange unknown and unstable genetic disease called The Global Evolution Crisis that affects everyone with how they look, and causes mental issues and other diseases (because with becoming human means becoming the worst creature to ever live) for better or for worse with no cure to stop or reverse it and not knowingwhere the Fuck it came from or where it started. Evolving everyone out of their current natural forms into humans which will globally result in eventual mass extinction of every species leaving only a few natural unaffected species to thrive like animals considered as food or important animals such as bees for example, left alone in their natural state. This genetic crisis resulted in Arashi's severe bullying into her freshman college year since folks being as humanized as they are is considered scary and offensive. Where Arashi was shunned since shes a Prosimian, one of the oldest primates but is neither a monkey or ape since they dont exist. As a sophomore she got creative, She can walk without exposing her legs which throws people off and makes her look cool or badass in school to some as an Air Element and can also float or fly using her powers. Arashi can even use her powers for multiple purposes such as not having to get up from her seat and use her free hands to solve issues on the board without hassle or expand her shape such as her hands for battle. She's considered to have severe adhd and can be quite clumsy or forgetful on occasion, making her struggle more than her peers. She tends to talk a lot when talking about a special interest but only towards the main girls and usually is soft spoken. In the future shows when talking to Jueneau, I wanted to show that when she talks a lot, she sometimes forgets what shes talking about and needs reminders of the topic discussed. She's very introverted from the other three girls and can be mischievous. She takes inspiration from ghosts in books or fiction who loves pulling harmless pranks on friends or foes in her invisible state and sometimes her pranks give her friends creative ideas. Due to the fact that she's the most human looking in the school, She uses her elemental powers to cloak most of her body invisible such as her head, face, legs and arms only revealing a her bum, ears, tail and large chest. Folks view her covered body as "sexy" or attractive as her tight but comfy fitted clothing reveals a visible figure even though invisible and tries to find confidence in it as long as her overly humanized parts are covered while still being sexy. Arashi's sevear bullying resulted in her losing complete confidence and self esteem in her image forcing a form of dysphoria, anxiety, self isolation and depression onto her. She one day wants to find Full confidence in herself someday without feeling ashamed of the way she looks and eventually expose who she really is. The cast of characters treats her like an ally against the world that (fears the human) because their in it together, knowing their all messed up with the same disease. Arashi realistically struggles the most as the weakest main girl but underneath is what will make her a fan favorite beyond her looks as one of the most developed and my personal favorite.
The inspiration was loosely drawn from Mel of the gaslight district and from Toru Hagakure From MHA whos quirk is invisibility though Arashi's story is much different and is meant for deeper commentary.
Kuma (18 Yrs): Kuma, the fire element, and the only non Goth of the other three main girls with a bold and bright design sticking out like a sore thumb from the rest. Kuma in general has a really gentle, chill, kind, and laid back personality however, she also has a smug and naughty side to her hidden underneath her innocent looks and can also be stubborn. Kuma to mask some inner feelings likes to keep her cool with a very calm attitude, observing Juke and usually doesn't crack, making her able to take intense pressure and stress almost as well as Jueneau. Compared to Arashi who's considered the weakest emotionally, Kuma had more intensity put onto her shoulders in Japan and grew up with a lot of high stress, pressure and high expectations especially when it came down to her loving parents so that she was successful in life at a young age before adulthood. When she does break down, she signs "sorry" multiple times and cries in sorrow. She's confident and likes to be independent as the Shiba inu she is. She is Deaf and cannot speak, though she has excellent and exceptional skills Sign Language, reading, writing, and spelling in English and Japanese but sucks at math. When one on one or with the main girls, they speak to her without signing so she feels normal without the aid of Signing and often replies with yes's or No's or writes or texts via phone. She's very alert to her surroundings and knows how to stand up for herself despite her very short stature from the main girls. On the battlefield, Kuma is very rowdy and rough. As a fire element, is incredibly fast in her own speed and power for someone small. She loves competition among bigger and stronger opponents with tougher or more defensive elements from her own even if she loses and is defeated. She Loves sports and isn't afraid to get down and dirty when it comes to winning with special strategies. If you compared her to a Powerpuff girl, she'd be the Bubbles of the group, especially when it comes to battling. Often curious about the world, and fiercely loyal to her clique members, she likes observing Arashi and being around her most as her best friend always encouraging her to be confident like her or outright reveal her true self. Sometimes this causes Arashi to feel scared make kuma come off as unintentionally pushy as Kuma's unintentional misinterpreted assertiveness or Lack of social cues due to her understanding of higher pressure and being pushed to not break can hurt others that weren't raised the same causing herself to stress
Three: As for voice actors, thats a tricky one. Im extremely picky on who voices who. For me as someone practicing to be a voice imitator I had taken a lot of inspiration from Trey Parker and Matt Stone from South Park, who voice almost all of the characters of South Park lol and have decided that I would voice all four of the girls in different voices (including Kuma) who has her own special ways of communicating, imitating them in very distinct ways and to broaden my voice range.
For example, Juke has a low, sexy, raspy, Aussie accent but has an amazing voice range for singing since shes quite literally based on the most famous musicians and for Arashi as shy as she is, sounds similar to Lola bunny, Sabrina Carpenter (espresso) Nifty fron the OG pilot and Hatsune miku but with a lower pitch because goth lol. Ill also voice Karmen, Juke's mum, Mini, Sammy, Miku and other characters but not all.
Gooseworx? I had thought about reaching out as a voice actor/imitator and still do but need more practice for imitation and I have thought about actually hiring them/pitching my works to them but like I said KEMO-NO is definitely a show unlike the rest. A show ill never be able to make again and its very different from what they've been doing with their Moreso fun and not so offensive concepts that I LOVE SEEING. They aint south park after all 😆 and they might turn it down because of the themes in the adult series like it being too sexual for the fanservice whereas in Japan it is allowed and also sex sells or that its too complex and complicated and too dark or violent as a future anime because of it being a show that will deeply dive into specific topics that are sensitive.
Gooseworx isnt afraid of normal tv standards and I take inspiration from her. I also ain't listening to what normal censorship and TV standards will tell me to do, I want to smash records and pave paths) Im not afraid or ashamed to go uncensored regardless of where this country swings politically. Its a show that would be considered (Shonen, Seinen and Shoujo).
...But then I think of shows like south park, panty and stocking, the powerpuff girls and how action packed and violent that was especially for bubbles in (Bubble Vicious) and I think of all kinds of anime like Uzaki Chan wants to hang out and how controversial Uzaki was for having huge tit's (because she was uNrEaLiStIc), Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid and other shows like MHA that have topics of specific themes that offended folks of the west or the peanuts series where it talked about some verses in the Bible like in the Christmas special where people in older generational times said (dont do it) and the creator did it and nailed it or also the cancer episode of peanuts featuring a girl with leukemia that were successful and werent afraid to take risks and nailed that.
I think about all of this and think. Man... with people being offended by so much and wanting everything to change and people just... go with bs in the world so that nothing offends anyone I think will I ever make it? Or be turned down?
As a future Entrepreneur, I take risks, its my dream, and the show must go on! Regardless of what people say or think, I can either go ALL IN or die trying in the industry and be the failure I feel I am today or keep my ideas a secret Inside my head waiting to shine beyond paper and pen.
KEMO-NO as a series is the type of show that will tackle some of the most difficult topics to talk about. Most shows play it safe and use topics already discussed or use formulas that are simple or if they tackle something they dont dive deep enough or mess it all up and im always left with wanting More. The show wont tolerate tonal whiplash. Its just unacceptable writing prowess. A lot of shows like narration or someone telling you how a story begins but what about voiceless storytelling? like disney or don bluth did back then because the audience isn't stupid, they get it! Show dont tell, not tell dont show is what I want!
For example some topics, I wanted to make an episode about childhood cxncer (a topic people dont want to talk about or stay away from or cant handle) (a Jueneau episode) featuring two kids with cxncer whom she comforts, one survives, the other she stays with until his final last moments. They're both acknowledged (not forgotten) throughout the entire series to honor them as if they were real. Theres a lot that goes in it but no spoilers. It killed some of my family members such as my grandmother I never got to say goodbye to and whenever I see those shriners hospital ads it makes me want to make fundraiser episodes purely for donation purposes in attempt to beat cxncer. An episode that is well crafted and put together. The Peanuts series, as I said, did this back then where they made an episode special about a girl named Janice called Why, Charlie Brown, Why? Who had leukemia where Linus protects and defends her and prompts him and his friends to visit her during chemotherapy. An ep where she was bullied for losing her hair. The episode was handled extremely well!
another is an episode that tackles Kumas hearing issue through "gene therapy" I had researched it and while it doesn't always work for everyone I wanted to give her a happy ending with out the use of an aid. Another topic no one will touch on because they dont want to, cant handle it, or dont know how. I see Deaf rep, but they're always just "there" or get simple stories. Though some anime handled it a bit better
Jueneau's PTSD which no, isn't a "vet stereotype" my dad whos from the navy, has it and its very common. People these days man lying through their teeth about vets
Juke's photosensitivity epilepsy, later addiction, what she wants in life herself considering who she is within her own identity, her complicated family life and more
And Arashi's bullying dysphoria from the massive bullying she received where she overcomes that and one day slowly but surely reveals what she truly looks like, revealing an uninvisible self rather than always cloaking herself to be invisible but trust me theirs more to these characters than just that. And they aren't the only ones going through heavy development.
Japan might be the best way to go but if goose reached out to me as a co production or something and they worked for me then goddamn thats an honor. But if I can work with japan and goose than its an extreme honor. Itll further my success, However I'll stay in Wisconsin, just because Cali is the standard for animation and "fame" doesn't mean ill go there. Imma pave paths in a state that folks believe doesn't have much in it. Its a state that saved me from a dangerous living situation and im here to stay.
