- we're basically the same people. i don't know anyone on balmung that doesn't have a mateus alt already. - the shout chat is nearly identical in its pointlessness and dumb jokes. - mateus is no more friendly or accommodating than Balmung is - the FFXIV RP community as a whole closes itself off to characters in their respective circles, and many events focus on either entertainment groups, taverns, or monthly brothel events. of course it’s going to get stale 

continuing on with comparisons, or going on about how Balmung won't welcome anyone since it's been closed off, is only going to splinter the RP community.
