I will forever be disappointed at what they did with Caine in the finale. I’m happy with the direction but everyone forgiving him (while implying a slow build up) was so quick from the audience’s perspective.

Also Caine, someone who repeatedly showed a lack of understanding in social cues, human behavior, emotional ANYTHING- did some self reflection, realized he’s wrong and was able to accurately communicate his emotions?! Like flawlessly!?!? Is this even the same Caine…

Im glad they chose to have Caine see the wrongness of him actions and try to understand the humans. But it would have made so much more sense if he went to the humans with “help me understand” rather than “I understand”

So! I have a lil thought that Caine is actually a real person, an experiment with isolated consciousness with embedded software code. So basically that's the reason for his natural emotions like rage, envy, admiration, etc. Unlike Abel, who is nothing but an AI, Caine is half human, his mind was used to digitalize the brain's algorithm, he is an organic prototype.

I got some Japanese posts showing up on my Twitter feed featuring Pokemon plushies dressed up. But it was like Conkeldurr with jewels on his concrete stacks and Hitmonlee in a dress and tiara.

I love seeing trainers making their favourite unique. Dressing them, customising them, nicknames, taking them on journeys. I live for this stuff.
