hi, for context I've been in estrogen,~4 years, and have not had srs. I saw you talking about lubrication and I was curious, I've never felt like anything lubricated and at this point it's rare to have any liquid come out of anywhere during sex, but I noticed recently that my perineum got really damp after some play and I was having a hard time figuring out if it was just sweat from being worked up or if it was some kind of lubricant. it made me curious what the relation between 'getting wet' and srs is (or lackthereof) and any information in that regard which you're willing to share, like what tissues are actually responsible for self lubrication.

That’s just sweat. Your penile glands are what produces the wetness when it’s been transformed by bottom surgery (I don’t like the term srs) into a vagina. The glands are placed in two spots, in the clit and inside the vaginal canal. Technically it’s the same substance as precum (minus the trace amounts of sperm that might be present in precum), however, from my own and others’ experiences there appears to be little to no relation between how much (if any) precum you produced and how wet your neovagina will get. Both neovaginal and natalvaginal wetness have a “mucus” consistency, they’re a little slimy without being sticky. If it feels watery, and friction is easy to feel, that’s sweat or piss. If it feels slimy and friction is significantly reduced, that’s wet.
What I’ve noticed is that I tend to produce some as I’m turned on and touched in an amount that is sufficient for penetration (but I’d still almost always prefer to add lube if something larger than a finger or two is going in). However, when I cum it seems to squirt a large quantity of it out from inside my vaginal canal (not from the clit). After that, I’m so well lubed you can fit pretty much anything you want in me with ease and zero discomfort. At that point my pussy is more wet than even a wetter than average natal pussy. I’ve been thinking about changing how I have sex for this reason…making my partner watch me cum first, and then letting them touch/fuck me.
