Cyprus-Rhodes University is located in Ohio. Although it’s a relatively small campus with a modest student body, the passion exhibited for the school’s Greek Row is endless. The top houses in all of Cyprus-Rhodes are Zeta Beta Zeta and Omega Chi Delta. Everyone else just sort of falls to the wayside, though that doesn’t mean they don’t have as much heart and spirit as the top sorority and fraternity. Oftentimes, there is some tension between the sororities and the fraternities, each trying to prove that they have what it takes to be the best of the best. TASK TIME!

I thought it would be fun to assign a little activity for the group, and this week, I was thinking we could do moodboards for our characters. They could be a moodboard about just your character, or perhaps a relationship your character has with someone else, whether it be a romantic attachment or a friendship. 

Honestly, you can make as many as you would like! Go as wild as you want because I know I’d love to see them on the dash. They’ll be due by June 8, which falls on Wednesday of next week. Please make sure to tag them with ‘cyprustask’! Have fun, cuties.

BIO POINTS.

Spencer’s family have always been very close. He grew up with two very inspiration older brothers who were also athletes and was surrounded by cousins. He couldn’t imagine a life without two brothers that’d take care of him even when Spencer knew he could protect himself but at the same time, they’d always tease each other like any set of brothers would. They’d always have his back when he needed them. His parents showered him with praise simply due to Spencer being the youngest sibling like most parents but that didn’t shatter the relationship they with Spencer brothers. Spencer at a young age was very spoilt but as he grew elder, he realized that he just wanted to be treated any different from anyone else. So he never asked for things he wanted until he felt like he earned it.

As any teenager did, Spencer spent a lot of his in his room wrapped into the world of the internet. Watching a lot of TV on there, reading off social media platforms and though he wasn’t interest in it, celebrity gossip. With the increase of positive representation of homosexuality in these medias, Spencer quickly began to realise he wasn’t interested in girls the same way his group of friends did and that he only felt that attraction for guys. It easily gave him the confidence to be whoever he felt like. So coming out to his brothers first was a piece of cake. They showered him with hugs as their baby brother and even offered to help Spencer get a boyfriend which he refused at the time. Then he went on to tell his other family and then his friends. It didn’t make a difference to any relationship he’d ever had in his life. After that, Spencer was confident in being however he wanted which he realized was an arrogant jerk.

Wrestling and football had always been too massive interests of Spencer and was a shared interest of his brother too. They’d always go to games together as his father was too busy at work and knew his brother would be fine taking care of Spencer. After his first game, he came to notice that playing football or wrestling full-time as a job was a dream. A dream he definitely wanted.

Though being a sportsman was the top dream, Spencer loved to sing and dance when everyone in his family was out of his house. It’s not like he wanted to hide this passion from everyone since he was so open in other details in his life, he just felt more comfortable not. It wasn’t important. He’d worked so hard to not just be seen as a ‘homo’ at school as he was more masculine than the rest of his teams that being a rockstar like he wanted didn’t seem like the right option. Though Spencer would have thought of himself as a star no matter what he was doing.

Coming to Cyprus-Rhodes was a no brainer when picking colleges. His brothers had attended there and both at times were leaders of fraternity Kappa Tau Gamma. He knew that once he joined that fraternity, he’d always have a band of brothers who would have his back. Not that he needed it. Plus, of course,Spencer loved the chance to party and KTG’s parties were that of legend.

BIO POINTS

Right from the start, Kitty Wilde really was a force to be reckoned with. Born into a household where material possessions, not love, were the basis of the family lifestyle, Kitty never knew anything different. Her parents were wealthy, and never around enough to show her any kind of affection, nor to set any ground rules. Kitty was watched over by various nannies, some of which quit purely because they couldn’t handle the young girl’s sass and general temperament, and basically ruled the house. It was far too large for a family of three, but Kitty saw it as her kingdom, and herself as the royalty within.

Kitty’s indulgent, rule-lacking, self-absorbed lifestyle was not limited to her home life. The young blonde was enrolled in only the finest private elementary school in her upstate New York town, where Kitty continued to assert her authority. Sharing had never been her thing, so having to share with an entire class of students was never going to sit well with her. Kitty was the school’s HBIC from a very young age, and continued to get everything she wanted, exactly when she wanted it. Kitty Wilde took the title of popular girl to a whole other level.

Progressing through her school life, Kitty excelled in her general school work, and remained on top of the social hierarchy right from elementary, through middle school, and up to sophomore year of high school. However, partway through sophomore year, her parents sat her down and explained that they were going to be getting a divorce. The news came as no surprise to Kitty; on the rare occasion the two were home together, they did nothing but fight. They had made the decision that Kitty would live with her mother, which she was fine with, considering she nor her father were ever around anyway, but the real bombshell came with the news that they would be leaving New York, and effectively pulling Kitty from her school where she practically sat up on a golden throne.

Begrudgingly, Kitty’s life was all packed up and moved out to Indiana, conveniently to the same town in which her mother’s new boyfriend resided. Mrs Wilde swears she was not having an affair, but given how quickly she and her new beau seemed to meet, fall in love and then move close to each other, Kitty was never convinced. To be frank, though, she didn’t particularly care. Her main concern was her new school, and her lack of popularity. Back home she was cheer captain, and basically high school royalty. It turned out, at her new school, she was lower than nothing.

The remainder of Kitty’s high school career was not one she likes to think about. She went from having everything to having nothing. People didn’t take kindly to her tough love approach, and the young girl found herself an outcast, burying her nose in her school work and praying for graduation to roll around faster. Once it did, Kitty would be straight out of there. For a hot second, she considered going back to New York, but knew her rightful top spot would’ve been filled long ago, so chose a more academic route, instead.

Applying to various colleges, Kitty received multiple acceptance packets, and eventually picked Ohio’s Cyprus-Rhodes; a school she’d be starting fresh at, in a whole new place, with a whole new bunch of people, where Kitty intends to take back her top spot, and make her college experience everything she deserves.

BIO POINTS

The girl has got a SERIOUS competitive edge – it probably stems from competing within her family unit. As the middle child – she has both an older and younger brother – Bree often finds herself competing with her siblings for her parents’ attention. Her younger brother, Jonas, is some high school music prodigy; her older brother, Grant, is a community-college dropout. Both the Thompson boys take up much of her parents’ time and energy that sometimes, Bree feels like the “Jan” of her family. Still, though, being the middle child does have its perks – Bree has had more freedom to experiment with relationships and friendships outside of her home; especially being away at college for the first time. In high school, too, Bree relied on socializing to feel comfortable. She was a cheerleader and maintained elite status in the social hierarchy. Being a cheerleader certainly provided Bree with a sense of support and leadership; something that was, at times, lacking for her at home.

Bree’s promiscuity is something that may have also resulted of her freedom outside of the home. She loves to hook up with guys and girls alike – and a person that somehow elevates her social standing is a person Bree wants to be around. Exploring her sexuality is also not only fun, but boosts her reputation significantly, especially being a pledge within Tri-Pi. The entire sorority thrives on its openness towards sexuality, and so Bree found herself a good “home” once arriving to CRU.

Bree doesn’t appear to be much of a cinnamon roll. She isn’t. Her trust is hard to earn, which is why most of her friendships are a bit shallow. And she won’t mess with you unless you mess with her. If she feels betrayed, the gloves come off and she shows no mercy. This might get her in a little bit of trouble, being the low man on the totem pole – she is just a pledge for Tri-Pi, after all. Bree hasn’t always been very good at “knowing her place.”
