March 9th 2018 Over 120 thousand people gathered all over the country to express their disapproval with the situation in Slovakia. The protests were calm with no casualities or violence. Many people were clinking their keys, making the protests similar to those that took place during the Velvet revolution in 1989.

this revolution was started by university students and young people, a group underestimated by both the government and the older generation
the motto of the revolution was “when - if not now. who - if not us?”
life isn’t perfect now but it’s so much better and for that we are eternally grateful
