Who cares? Â Iâm good to blow off the whole day if you are.
Yeah, that sounds good. I donât think weâd really miss anything, anyway.

Who cares? Â Iâm good to blow off the whole day if you are.
Yeah, that sounds good. I donât think weâd really miss anything, anyway.
I am so into that idea. Â Letâs go.
Thank goodness.
[He slips his notebook and laptop into his bag -- because, honestly, heâs been ready to leave since he got out of bed this morning -- and stands.] How many more classes do you have today?
Hey, itâs just a fact. Â But youâre welcome.
[He grins at Jackson, before checking the time on his phone. He sighs.] I canât believe Iâm saying this -- but you want to skip class and get tacos?
I'd rather miss a class than actually sit through it right now.
Right. Â Because youâre smarter than everyone there.
Yeah, I guess. Thank you.
Because youâre smarter than everyone there, including the professor?
No. I was thinking more along the lines of âmost of this just seems like common sense, so why do I actually need this class.â
It being almost over is kind of a bright side.
How are your classes?
There you go!
Uh, boring. I mean, there are some interesting ones, but for the most part, theyâre pretty dull.
âŠI guess I should listen to you more.  I canât believe it took me eighteen years to figure that one out.
I learned that I hate it.
That makes two of us.
...Yeah, no, thereâs no bright side to that one.
What did I learn again?
That you should listen to me more.
And probably something about life? I donât know, did you learn anything in that class?
Congratulations to you!
I have learned my lesson. Â Iâm serious. Â I will listen to you about my schedule. Â Next semester, anyway.
Look at the bright side: at least you learned something from this experience.
You were right. Â You win. Â Happy?
Thank God. Â You need to have final approval over all of my classes next semester.
Very, actually!
What are the chances of you actually listening to my suggestions?
Just because I am acing them doesnât mean I am enjoying them.  Okay, fine, some of them are fine.  But othersâŠugh, who wants to sit around and question life all the time?
I told you the class was a bad idea.
Look on the bright side. The semesterâs almost over.
Hey, really? Â That makes me feel like a little less of a slacker.
[He gives Jackson an unimpressed look.] Jackson, arenât you acing all of your classes? Youâre the exact opposite of a slacker.
[Jackson laughs.] Â Thatâs why youâre the genius of the group. Â Itâs my free period, but I am ready to be done with class today.
Hardly. [He laughs, shaking his head.] And, you know, I donât actually disagree with you. Iâm kind of over classes today.
[Jackson slides into the seat across from Danny and grins.] Â What are ya working on?
English homework. I wanted to get it out of the way before I end up swamped with assignments. [He finishes up the correction on his homework, before setting the notebook down and looking up at Jackson.]
Is this your free period, or are you missing class?
ooc:Â HAPPY CHRISTM -- THANKSGIVING, YâALL!!! (sappy, emotional chiz under the cut)
More than anything, I am thankful for you guys, and for this rp. Even though weâve moved around a few times, and itâs been so hard to see a way to fix things, we always did. We talked things out, and we always stood behind each other when things got rough. Despite how hard this last year has been for all of us, look at us. Weâre still here.
This time last year, I was in a really bad place. And I have no idea why Iâve been so emotional lately (I shouldâve never watched If I Stay), but I was thinking of this yesterday and almost cried. But on Thanksgiving last year, we were trying to fit, like, seven people (including a pregnant woman) into a three bedroom apartment. The walls were paper thin, and you could hear things from the rooms under, above, and on either side of you. But I couldnât complain about it, because it wasnât even our home. We were actually essentially homeless. Last year was really hard. And I honestly think I wouldâve broken down a billion times if I didnât have Wolf Out/Spellbound. And then things changed again, and we came back to WO, then to Rooftops, then to HM. Weâve changed a lot, and things arenât the same way that they were when we started, what... three, four years ago? But thatâs to be expected. Even if we hadnât left Wolf Out, weâve all grown, and even an insider can see the progress that weâve made. Progress changes us. And, as told by one Corey Matthews, âPeople change people.â
In all, Iâm proud of you guys, and Iâm proud of me. Sarah once said that lightning only strikes once, and this was my lightning strike, too. Iâm thankful for that, and for all of you. Whether Iâm literally always messaging you, or if I only message you once every sixty five years, I love you with all of my heart. You mean so much to me, and I donât know if I would be who I am today without you. I love you all, and I hope you have one amazing Turkey Day, if you celebrate it. And if you do not, I hope that you have an awesome Thursday!!
