So, yeah--- Lana Anderson was the one who fainted at prom! All Lana knows is that they felt a sharp, unexplained, searing pain and then everything went black. When they opened their eyes, it was all very embarrassing.
The night went on! They kept up the prom spirit, even going to Stevie Beaumont's after prom party. How could they have known what was going to happen that night? Their big sister, Effy McCoy (nΓ©e Anderson) and her husband Leo McCoy, were killed on prom night. A 'car accident'. Nothing was okay from that moment on.
Lana was left in a fugue when the news broke about Effy. Their mom was supposed to be out of town for a couple of days-- one of which being Founders Festival. Lana might have stayed curled into a ball forever if the screams hadn't started.
They were human, you know? It was terrifying. When they'd survived, Lana knew that she had to find Logan Durante and tell him the truth about Effy and Lana's little sister. She wasn't, technically. She was actually Effy's daughter and Logan was the biological father. Lana hadn't known how he'd react, but certainly hadnβt expected Logan to pack up his things and move in to raise βem all.
After everything that's happened in this town, Lana is afraid of the supernatural monsters. And they are so fucking angry about them! It doesn't matter if they were once friends or former schoolmates, they're not human.
Lana knows now that something supernatural happened to Effy and Leo. It wasn't a 'car accident'. How are you supposed to trust anyone when they could be a supernatural monster who killed your sister!?
Teachers, Havensdale PD, everyone in town whoβs supposed to look after you: supernatural monsters! Lana takes Annie and Jamie's Podcast as a survival guide (of course, not knowing or realising that Jamie is supernatural).
Life is just a fuckinβ lot right now! Lana has grown more and more bitter over the years. And angrier. They'll put themselves into dangerous situations and throw fists if necessary. Lana Anderson is not the person they used to be.
