I was one of those who throws away the previous year's goals and makes new goals without achieving the past goals. I want to believe it is old age that changed me. 😅 These are how I deal with un-ticked-off goals presently. How do you deal with yours? Try not to enter 2022 hating yourself for the mistakes you made in 2021. Try to see yourself as someone who has grown, who has changed and learned from the past to make better choices in the future. Because when you see where you went wrong, you have already changed. You have already grown. And you are strong enough to face hardship again and know what to do. That is how we learn how not to repeat our mistakes: by making them in the first place.
🔹Before I start posting for the year, I needed to put this out.
🔹I learnt a lot in 2021 but this is like my top 4.
🔹The full gist is on my medium. Click on the link in Bio to read.🤗
🔹What did 2021 teach you, leave it in the comments👇🏼

Add Positivity ✨
If you think something nice about someone please tell them. This is the easiest way to add positivity to a world that desperately needs.🙂✨

Maybe I’m not healing because I’m trying to be who I was before that trauma. That person doesn’t exist anymore.
I noticed my hair had stopped growing and it was shedding more than normal. When I plaited it the ends of the hair were thin and the roots were fat a funny sight.
🔹I knew for sure something is wrong with my hair and cutting it was the only solution.
🔹I have known this for some weeks but I still refused to cut it.
🔹Why?
🔹I was just used to seeing my hair at the length that it was. Leaving the damaged ends was doing me a lot of bad but I still did not cut it off.
🔹Better to be with the devil you know than the devil you don’t know. I mean in what year of my life will I see length like this again?😭
🔹I finally cut it last week and while people have been looking at me like I’m a crazy person the shedding has reduced, the hair is visibly healthier and I’m a happier person.😄
🔹This is what happens when you let go of the things you know you need to let go of but you hold on to them anyway.
🔹What do you think is not beneficial to you and you need to let go of right now, share in the comments 🤗 (at A Better State of Mind) https://www.instagram.com/p/CVx8cpeIpEf/?utm_medium=tumblr
