hi! i have no idea what im doing!

i got into it bc i thought it would be a fun craft and im in the leather scene. turns out i was right! i really enjoy the process.

every project i sorta just base it on a mixture of pictures of other people's work, pieces i already own ive bought from someone, some leatherworking books ive collected, some youtube tutorials, and some etsy patterns.

the bone thigh strap was based on how Fruit Leather Shop does thigh harnesses. i have one from them and i love it though i found that the straps are too thin to hold in place well, so i decided to make my own design with thicker straps and different shapes.

i am really truly a beginner so i'm not really the best person to ask for advice but tldr youtube is your friend and if you live in a city with a leather scene find some leather workers and try to be friends with them. good luck!
