Backrooms explanation (SPOILERS)

So I watched the Backrooms today, and before hand I had seen a TON of hate on the movie; were people fucking high? That movie was phenomenal, and for the who were confused, how could you be confused? The movie gave the explanation out on a silver platter.

And my main thing about it is for the people who are like, "Well why did Pirate Clark suddenly kill Clark?? I thought they were team mates!" Guys, Pirate Clark is a representation OF Clark, so when he suddenly got hostile and killed Clark; that was because he was representing and mimicking Clark's anger and violence. Monkey see monkey do.

Also, Clark wasn't technically the bad guy. He didn't know how to admit when he was in the wrong probably since he was never taught that. And when he found a place that he could finally live without the responsibilities that he never took, obviously he wants to stay there. In his own world where he doesn't have to admit he's wrong with anything, like is own personal snow globe where's he's happy.

Finally, there are two theories floating around on Mary.

She made it out. Obviously if you watched the movie its pretty straightforward, she escaped Pirate Clark and was taken by the company and interrogated. But her whereabouts after are completely unknown.

She never made it out. And it was her mind playing a cruel trick on her while her mind and body were stuck in the Backrooms. And the last remnants of her corrupted memories make a fantasy for her that maybe, just maybe, she escaped.

Overall? 10/10 movie.
