Please Read!

Been having some thoughts about this blog lately!

Originally, the purpose of this blog was to tell Side B of @askillusionfox’s story from the perception of the Plated Arceus of this Universe. The plan was to eventually merge the two blogs in a future point, but with how busy life has gotten over these past few years and how “dead” this blog has been because of it, I think I might end up merging the two plots together sooner than planned, for my sanity’s sake. Especially with how soon the plot is going to be rolling on that blog.

So expect this blog to be gone soon! I’ll be merging it with @askillusionfox! It’ll make telling its story a LOT easier for me and hopefully encourage me to keep up with it better.

You seem to be having trouble communicating with these wandering mortals. What is your purpose in this realm? - Kan

As Kan approaches, the strange, eight-limbed pokemon raises their head and seems to almost relax at the sight of the other.

A psychic voice presses into Kan's mind, familiar in the way pokemon of their rare kind speak to one another. Familiar runes flash in Kan's mind, rearranging themselves as the other Arceus speaks.

???: "Kinsman...."

The other Arceus' mind burrows deeper into Kan's for a moment, stifling in a quick search that would have been painful on an ordinary pokemon. Then, the other withdraws to surface thoughts, standing and shifting their towering form into something more familiar.

A white Ninetales with thick fur stands before Kan, head bowed in apology.

???: "Forgive my invasive action, kinsman. Your form and words were strange to me. I only wished to understand a little better. Perhaps now we may speak on more familiar terms with you and these others...

My purpose? I suppose, my current purpose is to wait for my death."

Maybe, but just hear me out. If we can take their plates, I’ll be able to use that power against them. Before I got stuck in that damned forest, I was hunting down other mythical and legendary Pokémon for their elemental cores, I was trying to build a plate using them. Going after the plates directly from the source will make it all the more easier! I still even have some cores leftover from past encounters.

Listen, I know I’ve messed up a lot and made mistakes, but we’ve got everything to lose, at the very least we can give it a try. If we play our cards right, we’ll be able to save this universe, and many, many more.
