chandraja balakrishnan is her own damn torch against the night. but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t need people. 

she’s just tired. tired of barely getting acknowledged. tired of getting acknowledged because other people, or the divine, need something from her. when she finally meets rohini, the irony of her name is not lost on chandraja. go figure that the pastel princess, who’s named after one of the moon’s wives, is the one to become her soft place to land.

idk if i’m back on this blog but i feel like it’s necessary to inform you all that rohini finally watched jatp. she cried. amrish gave her shit for it but he cried too.

school starts back up again soon, so i’m (regretfully) cutting down my activity: 

@nosestealer will be low activity and queue based. it was already that, but i figured now would be a good time to make it official.

@daayaan is effectively on (semi) hiatus until i rewrite rohini’s story and regain some muse.

@goneshe will be low activity and queue based too.

@hopeheired will be low activity and queue based as well. 

@skyhigher has yet to become properly active but if i’m there, i’m queuing stuff.

@firefavoring and @heartgcardian are both essentially on semi hiatus until i re-read the comics and/or rewatch the show to regain some muse. (maybe i’ll put them both on one blog. i don’t know. we’ll see.)

@padmatical is essentially abandoned. maybe i’ll revive her. when i end up missing her. maybe.

rohini gives delanie a grateful smile. “i’ll try.” and that’s a promise. to both of those things. she’ll try not to overthink, and she’ll try to remember that delanie said that she’s gonna be great. and speaking of greatness: “really? yes! thank you! i love that, and i love you. you’ll be a wonderful model, i just know it.”
