EVENT CLOSE

Festival of the Falling Sun has come to an end for the year! We do hope everyone had fun at the event, and enjoyed the last bits of summer weather! Residents, do keep warm as the winter approaches. Warm seasons on Mamono are notoriously short!

it will be getting cold on the island! winter starts in late august here. make sure your muses stay toasty warm!

we will be finally finishing the acceptances from the last round this weekend. apps will still not open for a good while.

we are planning on a swap from dash rp to forum rp in the upcoming months! blogs may still be used for memes and reblogs, of course, but tumblr is such a hassle to do roleplay on recently, isn’t it? this has been greatly discussed in the skype chat, and will be explained more at a later date on this blog.

Dacina pulled out a white with blue trim dress from the 1814’s out of the back of her closet and laid it on her bed. As she was going back in to get the corset and several different petticoats she heard someone walk in.

“Don’t touch the dress please it’s old and has been passed through my family for generations.” She said from her closet. And it wasn’t a total lie. It was originally her mothers and when she died she inherited it and had it fitted to her as she got older.

Dacina laid the petticoats out on her bed next to the gown. Turned and sighed as she looked up to grab the matching hat and gloves, “I can’t reach that ivory hat box…. Could you be a dear and grab it for me?“

To bother the wolf late at night means a bullet in your head.

Dacina had been staying later in the evenings doing books and taking inventory. She had never always known what was in the liquor cabinet in the basement of the Pack. Dacina couldn’t help that she needed an outlet. She couldn’t always be gone for days upon days. That wasn’t all that good for business. 

Dacina chewed on the lid of a disposable pen as she deducted money from Kenzo’s tab. Aspen had raised his prices and would give Daci a portion to pay off his 230 dollar tab. So far, it was working beautifully. The money was almost paid off. As she rubbed her eyes and reached for the mug of coffee by her computer, Dacina heard the door to the pub open. 

Dacina grabbed her .25 Remington of the wall and carefully walked out of her office then into the main floor,”Don’t move or I’ll shoot!”

“I’d like to hope that you wouldn’t,” Kenzo said evenly. “But I also can’t blame you for holding anything against me. Though, I think that a bullet won’t really solve that issue.” He’d always known about the fact that Dacina kept a gun in the pub, but he’d never seen it. There had never been cause to pull it out and they made him deeply uncomfortable. Every fiber of his being was urging him to move. Combat instincts never went away, he supposed.

“I thought you might want these back.” He held up the set of two keys which had been twirling around his fingers just a few seconds ago. She had given him a spare set of keys to her apartment and the pub, though he had never used either. The idea of letting himself in just hadn’t sat right with him. “And I thought that we should discuss my tab.”

Dacina sighed, uncocked .25 Remington and lowered it,"I've been meaning to get those back..." Daci walked over to some switches and flicked on to turn on some of the lights,"and don't worry about your tab," she put the safety on the gun and laid it on the bar,"It's being...handled..." She chuckled.
