Sorry guys. Last of these posts for a while.

There’s a lot of drama going on surrounding underaged writers on tumblr. Some of these younger kids are claiming they are being “harassed” by being blocked and removed from adult servers. Not only is that… the opposite of harassment, it’s justified.

Here’s why we’re upset if you join our discords or discuss NSFW stuff with us and we don’t know youre minors.

IT’S I L L E G A L

We could go to prison, or be deemed a predator for the rest of our lives.

“But if I don’t put my age on my bio you don’t know so it should be okay.”

Wrong. If you suddenly decided to put your age on your bio, and we didn’t notice it after talking to you for a while, you could claim your age was in your bio the whole time and that could fuck us over.

We aren’t mad because you’re “teens with hormones.”

We’re angry because you’re lying about your age to get into adult areas and have adults circulate your stuff to MORE adults who might want to express appreciation to what the think is an ADULT AUTTHOR and end up messaging a teen.

This can get us in legal trouble, and it’s our fault because we’re the adults and should’ve been more careful. No matter what.

If you like us, wait til you’re 18 and then hop into these communities. No one is harassing you for your age… they’re trying to get the fuck away so they don’t go to prison for talking to a literal kid about sensitive content.

If you’re under 18 and you write, great. Put your age in your bio so other teens can find you, and so adults can keep things safe and stay away from you. You should be CONCERNED if an adult tries to talk to you about stuff like that as a young teen. Please let us do the right thing and let us know not to interact with you about this content. If you’re an adult willingly thirsting with children, you’re a predator.

Btw, y’all calling Me and others predetory now that we said we don’t want you near us, is EXACTLY THE POINT. Adults who aren’t predators don’t want to talk to you once they know you’re teens. And you making such EXTREME accusations is the exact reason they freak out and distance themselves. Because if you lie like that, we still get the blame.

While I normally try and stay out of these conversations because of my anxiety, I have to speak up because of it now.

While I understand the POV most minors have on writing or consuming 18+ content, because yes I was once you age and doing the same things. Yes I can see how it could be seen as educational and a healthy and safe way to explore sexuality IF YOU ARE OF CONSENTING AGE….I am now not only an adult who HAS to look at this from a legal standpoint but from another as well.

Most of you already have seen the mentioned consequences if WE get caught interacting with minors over adult content. Let me then add another layer onto that for you, and maybe it will help put it in perspective even more.

Most of you know that I am a parent. Do you know what that means if I am caught and labeled as a predator? I will lose the right and the ability to interact with my own goddamn child. The child I created, carried, brought into this world and am raising. DO YOU UNDERSTAND THIS. Do you understand that I will lose my entire goddamn world and heart if you lie to me about your age and get me mixed up in petty bullshit?

Please think carefully about this. Because I tried and tried today to stay out of it and not upset myself but I can’t when I have something so fucking important on the line. I cannot toe the line anymore on the subject of minors now that I am reminded what I stand to lose.

So I politely and respectfully ask minors to not just leave my blog but understand WHY. This isn’t just about lewding anime guys. This will ruin the very real lives behind the blogs. And honestly? As much as I love this blog, this fandom and writing?

I will delete if need be to protect myself and my child from backlash.
