Ashley moved around the kitchen, making a normal pot of coffee, she wasn’t gonna make Zac drink the watered down coffee she would have to drink lately. Handling the hot cup of Joe, the blonde sat down next to him, her legs crossing . “Yeah, I’m hoping it stays like this throughout the first tri and just stops during the second. Hoping it won’t get any worse than what it has been,” she murmured gently, her fingers pushing through her faded pink hair.
“I am! It is crazy, like it still hasn’t sunk in that I’m growing some little human. It still feels like I’ll wake up one day and all of this sickness was just some stupid little flu.” She chucked, playing with her fingers as her hands rested against the counter. Her blue eyes rested on as he rambled on, nodding at the questions. “I have. I’ve always pictured having two or four kids. Or more, just a big family. I just pictured it more after I turned 30.”
“Well maybe you will be lucky, I don’t know much about pregnancy but what I do know is that a lot of woman say the first trimester is the worse. I kind of remember when my mom was pregnant with my brother, I mean I was 8 so I wasn’t really interested but I remember her throwing up.” he laughs at the memory. “I was kind of expecting that when I got here. I think I should buy one those baby books.” he shrugs before taking the steaming cup.
“I get that, I always thought hey I will have time later but I guess later is now.” he smiles looking at her once more. “I am almost 30 now so I guess it would be a good time to have a family..not that I am implying we have to be anything beyond what we are now..” he stops shrugging before smiling. “Whatever that is.”

The blonde easily felt her heart start racing. He was a friend, and she never thought she would have to have a baby talk with a friend until now. “Other than being sick, I’ve been feeling pretty good. Hungry. I haven’t had any, and if it hits, it might just be in the afternoon.” She chuckled. She was still trying to figure out why they called it when it lasted throughout the whole day. She motioned for Zac to follow her and walked into the kitchen, leaning against the counter. “Want anything? Food, coffee, water?” She asked arching a brow as she moved towards the fridge, searching through it.
“Hey, it’s fine. I didn’t expect this to be anything else other than awkward,” she laughed, leaning against the counter agian, her arms crossing over her chest. “So what’s up?” She asked, her brow arching towards the older actor.
Zac smiles as he follows her through her home, she had good taste that much was obvious. “Coffee would be good, honestly I was hungry on the way here but now I don’t really know what I want” he chuckles once more. “But hey thats not anything new” he shrugs. “And well that’s good to hear, I am glad you aren’t spending all day sick at least not yet.”
At her question he laughs and shrugs. “Well. I mean you are pregnant, thats just.. crazy Ash. We are going to be parents? I am kind of freaking out. I mean in a good way mostly but also not? I have always wanted kids. You? Did you want kids I mean?” he sighs clearly he was rambling.

“Hey no one said I was a comedian,” she shrugged her shoulders as a smile formed on her lips. “Thank you, what about you I heard you where going to be a dad. Are you nervous?”
“Yeah...” he smiles biting down on his lip. “I just never saw it playing out like this you know?” he shrugs. “But I mean I guess it could be worse.”

“I mean I could always name him or her Blanket. That has to be the worst celebrity baby name in the world. Like hey Blanket, where’s pillow? I’m sorry that was horrible,”
“Honestly I am just going to go to save you from the embarrassment that was that joke. But really I didn’t know you were pregnant! Congrats.”

Ashley scrunched her nose towards the decaf, before she dumped it down the drain. It was the only true con that she hated during pregnancy. She was always down for coffee, it was the perfect pick me up in the mornings. But for the past week or so, she had to stop. And at times when she didn’t get a certain amount of sleep she could feel the tiredness and crabbiness getting to her.
Telling Zac about the baby and knowing that he would be around to help out as much as possible, was almost a weight lifted off her shoulders. Ever since she found out, she felt like she would have to do it all by herself with the help of family, and she didn’t want to burden anyone. Hearing a knock on the door, her two dogs quickly started barking but quieted down once Ashley said their names. “Hey,” she said as she opened the door, and moved out of the way so he could walk in.
His smile froze on her lips as she opens the door, he knows that everything has changed but confronting it was the right thing to do, he knew this and was never going to think otherwise. “Hi” he replies stepping inside her home. His heart was pounding but there were things he needed to say and getting it over with sooner rather than later was the best way to go about it.
“So, how are you feeling?” he starts trying to ease his way into the situation. “Hungry or still feeling the morning sickness?” he bites his lip running his hands through his hair once more slightly uncomfortable with the thought of her pregnant. She wasn’t showing yet, wouldn’t for a bit thats for sure. “I’m sorry this is so awkward..” he chuckles.
Figuring it out || Zac - Ashley
Hooking up with his friend Ashley had been a one time thing, she was a great girl and he hadn’t even thought about going there before, sure she was really good looking and a very sweet girl but they weren’t exactly compatible beyond that. At least he hadn’t thought so, yet here he was heading to her house.
Hearing she was pregnant had shaken him to the core but if this was his child he would do what was right.
He pulls up to her house parking his car and walks up to her door running his hands through his hair before knocking on her door.

“Yeah I will be there. How have you been feeling? Maybe we should meet up before.. talk?”
that’s not why i married Bella if that’s what you thinking?
“Well I would hope not... then the baby would just be in the middle and that doesn’t seem fair.”

“Well maybe its time for a change. There is plenty of warm in the world..”

“I am, you’ve honestly been the only guy I’ve been with for the past few months. And everything kinda adds up. Good, I’m glad you’ll be here to help. I do have a doctor’s appointment tomorrow. Make sure it’s there and that everything’s fine with it.”
“I can come with you.. I really do want to be there for you.. I mean we are friends..?”

“Honestly there is always reason for both when a baby is involved..”

“Oh man. You excited? Is it a girl or a boy?”

“Yeah, I was planning on it…. I mean, you don’t have to be a part his or her life if you don’t want to. Figured you should know.”
“Well.. I’m shocked but that doesn’t mean I am bailing. If you are sure it.. it’s mine then I want to be here for them. And for you too Ash..”

“That night we hooked up, I got pregnant. I found out like three days ago.”
“Holy...fuck. And you are...keeping it?”

I wanna move somewhere where its warm not cold and snowing.
“But snow is magical. Although not so much in the morning trying to leave bed”
