So this may have absolutely no correlation to look into because it's just based on a few anecdotes I've noticed, but do you know if there's any research into aphantasia and how strong of plot threads dreams have? I feel like how long/detailed of narrative arcs people dream in is sort of related to how strongly they visualize while awake. (But of course a lot of that is also guessing based on how people tend to describe their dreams.) I'm happy for more anecdotes too, though, so if you feel like there's any (or no) relation between the two for you I'd love to hear any thoughts about that.
Hm, I certainly haven't seen any research on it, but then aphantasia is so new in terms of scientific definition (I believe the origin date for the term is 2015, certainly not before 2010) that there just hasn't been much research done at all yet -- most of it seems to be in the form of identifying the condition and its possible links to other conditions. The relationship of a mental/neurological condition to dreams is pretty esoteric as research projects go.
Unfortunately I won't be any help personally either -- I frequently have dreams that have very strong narratives. I also dream in color which is apparently somewhat unusual, or at any rate when I do recall visuals from dreams I recall them being in color. The only impact my neurodivergence (ADHD or aphantasia, take your pick) seems to have on my dreams is that I never see faces. I intuitively know who people are, much of the time, but either I just am not looking at their face or it's obscured for some reason -- in shadow, or they're wearing a hat, stuff like that.

La familia was protesting all match apparently? No drums or singing, in protest about the players not acknowledging them in the new stadium in the past few games.
Leo and Rodri gave them what they wanted hahaha
Leo's 🤌🤌 and smiling and waving was so cute, and rodri hyping them up at the end!
Ok, I learned slightly more and am now actually cringing. After the no-chanting protests (which, fine, that's reasonable even if I think the demands weren't) La familia chose to express their disappointment by taking an argentinian chant usually reserved for a failing team about to be relegated and changing a couple of words in it to be slightly less inflammatory. Apparently a part of the crowd was NOT aware of the change in lyrics and chanted the original.
From the pitch, I'm sure only the melody was recognizable. Which explains Leo's baffled, irritated reaction quite well, right down to the incredulous grin and 🤌🤌🤌 hands gestures.
Because, like... From his pov they were just about to win their first home game after a string of disappointments, with a clean sheet, and the supporters started telling them they suck and should show respect like WTF.
Incredibly dumb way to go about things. Deliberately antagonistic. Shot themselves in the foot, as well, because Leo and the others cheered with the stands after the match and acknowledged the fans but pointedly didn't do so towards the supporter's section.
And one more thing. Management had apparently reached out to La familia before the match to let them know they were taking the concerns seriously and were shot down. Couple of days after the match a (very cringy, very entitled) open letter was sent, and then a meeting was had, which was described as "positive and productive" and everything is fine now.
But still... For this to be the hill they die on, I don't get it. There are problems with management, I've seen people complaining about it, but the players aren't responsible for that, their job is to bust their ass and try their best and bring home wins and trophies. Which, despite Miami being Miami and always giving us heart attacks with occasional crushing humiliations, they HAVE BEEN DOING.
